Grim Fandango is on sale on PS4 for like 2€ and it's amazing provided you use a guide

 

The combat is iffy but if you have a powerful enough weapon, you can breeze through the mines. Ditto with the pickaxe

 

Yeah but it's really not fun imo, it's like Rune Factory gone horribly wrong, haha. I think the game would have been better off without it.

 

Was not a fan, ha. Story is too disjointed/poorly told IMO. Thanks for the rec, though.

 

I got Battlefront 2 today. Let’s see if it’s any good

I hate David Cave I think he’s a huge hack. And dumb.

But you know some people enjoy his stuff.

@mescalineeyes I don't know if you played the Mafia 3 DLC, but I recently bought the season pass because it was on sale and I'm currently going through this DLC about this murdering cult and it's awesome. It has like survival horror elements.

They also added new stuff to the game since I played it, like car tuning shops and landmines.

It's also Xbox One X enhanced by the way, it looks good, especially the new indoor locations look really fucking good.

 

Oh that sounds good! Will def get on it when I get a an X, the 900p isn’t really doing it for me any more haha

 

Finally got around to trying pubg on Xbox (one x). It’s definitely a mess with bugs and rubber banding at least once or twice a match but even with that being said it’s still an addicting and heart pounding game. You really have to keep on your toes even if you haven’t seen another player in like 5 minutes. There could be someone right around any corner or closed door. I’m excited for future bug fixes when this game will be even better.

 

I'll personally wait until there's a Battle Royal mode in a Battlefield game. All these dedicated games are way too janky for me.

 

I bet Black Ops IV will somehow have a br mode.

 

This can’t be stated enough.
I’m not paying 30 bucks for a sub par experience, especially since it’s 1 mode on one map.

 

Semi-finals were amazing. Both the #1 seed from NA and EU came out victorious and they meet tomorrow.

NA #1 swept the runner ups to last year worlds champion and have basically been dominant all season.

EU #1 beat last year's defending champion after nearly getting reverse swept by them.

IM HYPED

 

so i guess people are loving The Division now? seems like over the past couple days ive seen a bunch of "The Division is now the game it shouldve been!" and "The Division is now pretty much perfect" headlines, i guess the post launch DLC has been very kind to it.

Yeah I get that, I would love for a battlefield BR mode. But the next battlefield is what, 9 months away? And what if the mode isn’t in that or dice decide to never do it? Figured I’d give it a go now and hope for battlefield to do it sometime in the future.

 

$50 is a bit too steep for me right now but ill download the trial for sure. sounds like all of the improvements really made it a fantastic game.

 

It’s a tenner every few weeks. I just wouldn’t know who to play it with.

 

Today I completed The Last of Us on 'grounded' difficulty - probably the most challenging gaming experience I've had in a long time. Bullets being so scarce makes every enemy encounter so tense, never played anything like it - I must have died 50 times on the street sniper bit alone lol

 

At this point, I'm just going to hop on wit the division 2.

 

I like how Ubi is trying to be coy about whether The Division 2 is happening. The game sold well so I don’t see why they’d try to act like it’s up in the air or something

 

Get a used copy at Gamestop, it shouldn’t be that much nowadays

EDIT: GS app says it’s $15 used

 

What’s happening with Division is giving me Deja vu with siege, albeit what happened with Siege happened on a larger scale.
