I'm on 52 hours and I've done 109 quests. I haven't looked up how many there are but I'm guessing I've done a large chunk of them

 

Sounds about right for that playtime, i'm just a little less than that. I may be wrong but i'm sure I read there are around 120-ish quests. It's those damn ?s appearing that get me veering off track.

I'm not meaning I don't like the game. If HZD wasn't out then this may have been my GOTY.

 

I really like it. Only thing I don't like is I wish the quests would just appear on the quests tab rather than having to constantly look at the map.

 

Syndicate has one of the most satisfying gameplay loops of this generation

Syndicate got be back into the series after going off AC for a few years.

 

I always have to find the ! On the map. I wish the quests would just appear on the quests tab rather than having to look for them on the map after synchronising.

 

The city (which is gorgeous by the way) is divided into different districts which you take over one by one, mostly by infiltrating places (factories, warehouses etc.) and assassinating bad guys/freeing children and so on. These places are seemlessly integrated into the game world, so you can enter them how ever your want and kill/free/whatever your targets however you want. There is very little "scripting". That, combined with the amazing movement in the game (it has a really good hook-shot) is very satisfying.

Yeah I think their system for quests isn't the best

It is very similar in that regard, which is why Mafia was my favorite game the year it was released in, haha. I love them both a lot for very similar reasons, though there are obviously some big differences too.

I mean it had a few glaring issues but the story was good, the art was incredible and that shotgun was wowweeee

 

I had a shotgun as my main and a sawed off as my sidearm lol
