i am loving having a ds. there's so many games i wanna buy and most are super affordable. im gonna go hunting for used ds and 3ds games before work tomorrow

 

All this talk of Pokemon and DS games makes me want to replay Pokemon Ranger for the original DS. I remember playing that game when it came out but I haven't touched it since. It's been 10 years since it came out so I think I'll dip into some nostalgia with it sometime soon.

 

Nintendo released new Select Titles, bought Ocarina of Time 3D, Mario Party Island Tour, and Super Mario World 3D (WiiU)

 

i loved super mario world 3d so much that even tho i already played through it on my little brother's DS last year, im gonna buy it again because he lost it

 

I still kind of want to get a wiiU purely for Mario Maker, looks so fun.

 

Seems like it's a lot like Mario 64

 

I totally forgot this was coming out. That upgrade price isn't for a limited time, is it?

the best game ive played on my little brothers wii u is splatoon, that game is a lot fun. so are all the lego games he plays. also mario kart

 

Picked up Stardew Valley... I'm gonna spend dozens of hours in this.

 

Splatoon is a fantastic game. Mario Maker is good too.

 

This makes me want to throw down the cash for a PS4. So badass.

 

Is it not releasing on XB1?

Actually looks kinda cool and that's coming from someone who hates shooters.

 

@Jake Jenkins definitely pick up Fire Emblem Awakening, best game on 3DS imo. and Bravely Default if you're into old school Final Fantasy.

 

Do it!!! I'm going to be getting this game + there's a nice level editor where you can make your own multiplayer maps as well as co-op missions with enemies. I'll be making some maps for sure.

@Dirty Sanchez If I were to get one, which is better - PS3 or PS4? The only con for 4 that I can see is the lack of games, which will improve over time. I'd rather get a new PC, but that gets expensive quick.

 

Definitely get a PS4. This game won't be on ps3 lol. Game releases for Xbox 360 and PS3 are pretty much over now for the big titles, such as this one.

I've had a PS4 since launch and I've not been bored with it since Fall 2014. 2013-Fall 2014 was horrible gamewise lol.

 

@Dirty Sanchez There's probably going to be a ton of games out by the time I get one, if I get one. Doom 4 looks awesome. I'm trying to look at some more survival horror/FPS games that are already out right now. If FEAR 2 and 3 were available, I'd be sold!

Well, Fear 2 and 3 are on PS3 and the 2nd one was alright. Seemed it was made easier for casual audiences. The 3rd one was a trainwreck.

 

That's unfortunate to hear. I remember having a demo for the second one, too, but my computer could barely handle it. Can't really play the first one anymore either for that same reason.

 

I am beginning a FFX No Sphere Grid run because I hate having a social life.

 

That's another reason why I hesitate on buying something. I'm a massive hermit as it is - a console could be the absolute end to my life outside of these four walls.
