My phone isn’t charging even when it’s indicating it’s charging. I tried to find my Bluetooth car charger but can’t find the usb and don’t remember where I saw it last. My regular usb is new so I know it’s not that. I feel like it’s a sign telling me to buy a new phone. But I don’t like the new iPhones and heard negative things and idk how I feel about that. Or I buy a cordless charger

 

It got resolved. I just kept saying "yeah ok, definitely not a prank ;) " whenever they reached out to me via email and replied to my replies and they eventually gave up and said they "made miscalculations in their spreadsheets" lol. My clinic sucks but still it's the best option i have at the moment until I taper off this garbage, so at least there's that.

I was totally gonna dress up as a bat and become a detective noir protagonist and get to the bottom of this too. Oh well, maybe next time.

Not having a thread I feel I can post certain things in...
I’ll say it again, people who don’t remove their laundry promptly from a communal laundry, especially if they’re being inconsiderate and taking up every fucking washer. The riskiest part is taking someone’s laundry out, putting it aside and putting yours in because you don’t know when they’ll return. I was nice and waited 40 min for them to come get their shit. A wash cycle is 40 min. Not wasting anymore time

edit: monitored my time wisely. Saw someone in the laundry room. If it’s the washer hog, that’s 80min they left their shit in. My anxiety is so high I’m waiting a few min before I go back in just in case

I've been wanting to cut my hair short again and everyone keeps telling me they like it long. Like leave me alone ok I like it better short I didn't ask ur opinion!!

 

I've had the opposite happen for me before... When I first wanted to grow my hair out, people would tell me I looked better with short hair/should cut my hair =/

Thankfully I'm rocking the long hair right now that I wanna have.

 

I moved into a new apartment and with covid stuff I only did a virtual tour before moving in. It's not lease-breaking annoying, but the bathtub has a textured bottom which I hate so much. It'll never look clean and it will destroy my soul. There is no reason for that. If I'm concerned about slipping I'll buy one of those mats for the inside of the tub otherwise we're all about smooth tubs here

 

If you find a way to clean it please let us poor textured tub sufferers know. I’ve been battling it for a while at my place.

 

I hate it so much. It already looks dirty and I have barely even used it because the ppl before me it looks like maybe tried to dye their hair purple which like I don't blame them okay u should be able to do that without a dumb textured tub!! It's going to be my mission

 

I don't know if I'm paying more attention to it now or if they're getting worse by the day.

 

I can't travel into the future and watch every season of Lucha Underground consecutively.

 

for me, the Mr. Clean magic eraser sheets work really well on mine.

 

I've tried just the regular eraser, I'll have to give those a shot. Thanks!

 

I feel like the texture on the tub just tears up those magic erasers. Google said oven cleaner works well? Huh

 

Try soft scrub with bleach commercial strength (found it at Lowe’s). I love it.

 

Its taken me 30minutes...and still going...to get a fucking $15 refund from kfc. I ordered something on their app, I get there 15minutes away, and the inside pickup lobby is closed, there's no number to call for them to bring it out, so I wait I the drive thru for 3 cars, only to find out they are OUT OF WHAT I ORDER AND THAT I NEED TO CANCEL IT TO GET MY MONEY BACK.

theres no way to get a refund through the app and I have to CALL...I was on hold for 15 minutes, talked to a lady who sounded high, and now I'm being transferee to another department...hold another 15 minutes and still waiting as I write this. (My phone call was over an hour)

**I'm too nice. I super calmly explained how wasting 2 hours of my day on an issue caused by your company is extremely frustrating. I said I will no longer used your app as it is untrustworthy and will be cautious in choosing kfc in the future due to customer service being extremely poor

 

My health insurance went up and I was Not informed >.<. I know this usually happens yearly when you have open enrollment, but I work for a private office so we don’t have open enrollment.

i wish people wouldn’t abuse emergency services and other. This is why our insurance is out the ass

 

I hate when companies make you struggle to rectify their mistake. I had an issue with a pharmacy over-charging me a while back and i didnt notice until after and they were so difficult about it. I think I had to go down there in person and take time off work eventually because they wouldnt let me rectify it over the phone. Then they lectured me on how I shouldn't take so long to rectify the mistake. Like it was YOUR mistake sorry I work????


I sent in an online complaint but then accidentally sent it to the wrong branch so that kinda took the wind out of my sails lol

 

Imo experiences like this help prove the value in standardizing optional online transactions and customer interaction for as many businesses as possible. Records of everything, less waiting in lines, more accountability, etc. Unless there's some downsides I haven't considered it seems like it would result in less issues for employees and customers overall.

 

I was supposed to have my exercise bike delivered and set up on 1/7 and they never called that day or showed up during the two hour window so then it got rescheduled to yesterday. All is fine now, but like… when I bought it, it was 12/9 and they guaranteed delivery before Christmas and it didn’t even ship until 12/27 and yet, I don’t get any discount on the delivery charge. So much for “white glove service”!

My sister is pregnant 4 months after divorcing her husband with some boyfriend we don’t know.

She had the nerve to be all “they said I’d likely never have ANOTHER child after I had my ovary removed…” while I’m sitting over here, also down an ovary, on life time birth control because my anti-rejection medicine would result in fatal birth defects if I got pregnant. It’s fine. I’m fine.

 

I really hate unaware drivers. Asshole drivers are one thing, overly cautious drivers are another, but when you can tell from someone's driving behaviour that they don't even know you're behind them, those people should flat out not be licensed to drive

 

horrible accident today where I live, it took me an hour to go 7 miles because the interstate traffic was moved to my route to work. The traffic was backed up seriously 8 miles and the cars in front of me (we went 4-8mph!) kept creeping out to see if they could pass. I was like uhhh are you gonna try and pass literally 8 miles of traffic? Lol. Nevermind the interstate westbound traffic that was heading towards us. I thought for sure there’d be another accident.

 

I forgot to post this when it originally happened a few weeks ago but the last few post reminded of this.

It was super foggy on the highway a few weeks ago and there was a horrible accident and traffic was backed up for miles but what was truly frustrating was that the maintenance truck with the sign saying “detour now, road closed ahead” was AFTER the last exit before the backup began.

Sure enough, half a mile after that sign, traffic comes to a complete stop. I’m literally in park on a highway behind an 18-wheeler. All I could think of was horrible pile ups that happen because of stopped traffic. Thankfully the next vehicle that eventually came up behind me stopped in time and was an 18-wheeler so I didn’t worry about someone running into the back of them and getting pushed into me. But sure enough, people were in the left lane trying to sneak in between cars the next couple of miles before the exit lol
