I stopped playing the weekend after release.

 

I still put in over 100 hours into it before slowing down, I'd say that was money well spent. It helped me when I was feeling really anxious in April and May. I don't regret my time playing it.

Yeah this is kinda where i’m at. Every time i finish Zelda or RDR2, instead of continuing to like explore or 100% the game i just loop back around and start the story over. I need a good story, open ended isnt completely for me, though i really like AC, i wish they would have had way more stuff to unlock or continue to play for.

Ha I'm like the complete opposite. I can't sit down and play a game by myself no matter how good the story is iIjust don't have the aytwntion span i can only do multiplayers preferably the open ended kind

not saying best but the stories that affected me the most in gaming were Life is Strange and Gone Home

 

Okay I'll give a serious answer

Basically what Plumbob said, not necessarily saying they're the "best" but Life Is Strange and Doki Doki Literature Club are probably the two that had the most impact on me. Like, the latter game is one of the big things that helped me when I was struggling with severe suicidal ideation in early 2018. I found it very therapeutic. I won't spoil it if you haven't played it already. LiS was also very therapeutic for me because my high school experience was pretty similar to Max's.

 

Also the police were using tear gas and rubber bullets at the exact place I was at. If I hadn’t of left I would have been right in the middle of it

“its fine it wont kill them” seems to be the entire mantra of police brutality




Except a lot of times it does kill them.
