Heh figured I'd check in and see how everybody is doing!! Quarantine is weird, the world is weird, but I love sleeping past 6:30am every day and spending so much time at home gardening and with Hannah. Been focusing on perspective and being present in the moment so not a lot of time online. I think about y'all daily though and do lurk.

@Dirty Sanchez I started using the MOOC java course (also doing the Harvard CS50 course to get some better fundamentals on compsci in general) a few weeks ago and have been making progress for career pivoting in the next year or two if I can stay with it. Y'know, assuming anything is ever normal again and I can get a different job. I hope you're doing well!

Thanks friend! I think I planted a little too early for my zone and now my tomatoes are struggling, basil is basically dead but my heartier herbs and peppers seem fine. Just wish we could get some freaking sun out here, been cold, windy and rainy for eternity it feels like

I was going to plant this past weekend, but the forecast had low 30s lol. I think we’re in the clear now from frost.

planning on growing rosemary, garlic, tomatoes, habaneros, and tons of other things.

yeah it looked more like hail haha

 

There's been plenty of netflix marathons, watching too many horror movies (including the entire Saw franchise), and much snacking so productive is really relative haha and I think we all deserve to be relaxing in whatever ways are best for us right now!

haha no! i kept seeing people's snapchats and instagram stories of snow and every time i looked out the window it was cloudless sky and nothing.

 

Very much a lot of up and down, with mostly the latter lately, but I'm doing my best and hoping things improve.
