Well yes but I’m assuming more qualified than a creative writing graduate lol. I don’t have a teaching degree in anything! Japan doesn’t require one to be a language assistant. And you get paid pittance. My gf didn’t feel safe where she lived before and wasn’t excited by it. She loves Japan but has spoken numerous times about how realistic living here in the long run is in terms of the mental amount of taxation and our shit jobs.
