Didn't care for the first two but Infinite blew me away.

Not really a fair comparison. Fort Frolic, the plaster splicer level, is the best level in the entire series and isn't really representative of the original Bioshock's quality. If you think about it, Fort Frolic is entirely separate from Bioshock's narrative. You don't interact with Ryan or Atlas. It's actually an irrelevant level, only there to pad the game out. I give it a pass because it's brilliantly designed(by the creative director of Bioshock 2 by the way), but it could be taken out and it doesn't change a thing. Bioshock 2 may not have reached those heights, but it was more consistent. Bioshock's third act is garbage.

Natalie Portman is mostly a bad actress. Her acting ability is dictated almost completely by who her director is.

I don’t like Tim Curry in IT at all. And I love Tim Curry :(

Both IT adaptations are bad. Though I at least get the charm of the mini series. The new movie was one of the worst movies I saw in 2017, and I’m not being hyperbolic. Beaten only by Fist Fight and Alien Covenant

This is true, but it is also true for almost all actors. Even the greats like Streep or DeNiro can wildly overact with a lack of direction.

Gone With The Wind is pretty eh. I mean, it’s beautifully shot, and the story itself isn’t bad guess. But I’d be interested in seeing what it’d look like if it had an accurate representation of race relations and slavery of the time it’s portraying. Has anyone read the book? I’m curious how the novel handles those themes. Is it possible to truly care for these characters considering what they are fighting for?

Also, I can’t stand those old Hollywood accents

Edit: this proably isn’t too unpopular tbh. But we were watching it in class yesterday and I was thinking about it

Gone With the Wind is one of those Birth of a Nation type films with revolutionary filmmaking and incredible craft, especially for the time, but it’s inherint racism and sexism can’t be separated from the work. I get why it’s regarded the way it is.

I don’t even know if this is unpopular, but why does anybody watch the show Easy? And I say that as someone who watches Easy. The most interesting thing about this show is that it somehow got people to watch it.
