Hey I am just going by what Playbill is telling me. Guys and Dolls got Chicago and Into The Woods director Rob Marshall attached a few months ago, so there is some momentum there.

Ugh my mom does this except I'm texting the group chat made up of my mom and two sisters throughout the trip and then when I get back my mom is like "I can't wait to hear about your trip" and I'm like uhh I told you in real time. Nothing else happened. That was it.

Spider-Woman is such a great character and I hope she gets adapted for film at some point, but preferably not by Sony.

It only ran on Broadway for a year, but it won the Tony for Best Musical in 1993

All Parenting is Hard (November 23, 9:43pm 610X City bound)
We are three minutes late, we is me, my double Martini and my freshly ironed Tiger shirt. It's a hot Saturday night on the city express, the aircon is off as this friendly 610X zooms me down the bus lane. There is a sweaty young man desperately fanning himself, I watch as he struggles in vain to save his overly gelled curls. Live and learn buddy. Two goths girls with emotional support plushies discuss the dismal state of today's youth. According to the goths, soft parenting is to blame and follow up with anecdotal evidence of the times they have been bitten. By soft parenting what they mean is that they think the children need to be hit. It's a confusing conversation, my impression was being Goth on the bus with soft toys on Saturday night was the exact kind of situation the advocates of hard parenting have been trying to prevent. I ponder If they hold their position because they resent how their lives have turned out. I'm happy for there to be goth girls with toys on the bus but perhaps their existence is pain. I will soon find out those are not their feelings. I relay what's been happening to the person I will be meeting in the city, they instruct me to find out where the goths are going in hope of finding a goth/emo night. I oblige. The goths are not happy I have intruded into their conversation and are insulted by the question. They inform me no there is no emo night and this is who they really are every night. I apologise and thank them for their time. I keep the fact that I could crush them easily with my wealth of legit emo cred to myself. Lucky for them my soft mother raised me better than to behave in such a crude fashion unbecoming of a respectable passenger on the Saturday Night City Express Bus.

Your writing style makes me think of noir by way of Fear And Loathing but without the drugs.

I'm glad I could contribute to this in some small way.

This is now my favorite sentence written by anyone ever.

As excited as I am to see Beanie and Mescal, I kind of wish the Merrily We Roll Along movie was gonna be the Broadway trio

  17. Has Waitress gotten a TV or film adaptation yet?

I don't know shit about musicals but I'm a Sara Bareilles fan so this is the only one that comes to mind

Paris Texas Maroubra Crestwood (Anzac Parade Nov 24 11:15am N90 to Bondi Junction)
Hills Boy dreaming on a summer day walking down Anzac Parade to the La Perouse bus stop, Stop B. I made this trip a few weeks ago and in some sense today I am better prepared for the journey. I did a good job recalling the directions to the stop and I'm looking better, confident and crease free since I took the time to hang up my loose fit Hawaiian Tiger shirt nicely in the wardrobe last night after I took it off. My sense of vision on the other hand is very blurry, when I look up or down the world spins and churns around me, my motor skills are in the trash and general limb control is poor. The N90 comes moments after my arrival at the stop. Praise Jesus. I take a seat and text my boy what's going on with these pills. Oh boy, bad news. I've taken way too much and the half life is 16 hours. I have a job to do at 1:30pm and I'll be needing my precious motor skills back. Good News is i'm really vibing and my classic hits Youtube Music playlist is banging. I only wish I had access to my percsuns, my prescription sunglasses, my PSGs.

Perfect Alignment (Light rail station somewhere in the eastern suburbs)
No time to check the time or station, I step off the N90 straight onto the light rail, blasting courageously through its open doors like Arragon. What timing, yeah its me, yeah its me im a fortunate son. Before I allow my excitement to rampage I recall the last time I hastily jumped on the light rail and check map. A map man is always on. I wasn't last time but nobodys perfect. Once the map stops spinning it lets me know this light rail is going straight to the QVB. Spread the word around this boy is going back to town.

The Hits Keep Coming (12:09, 610X QVB Stand C)
The light rail drops me exactly where I wanted it to, I walk across the QVB to Stand C where mere seconds after arriving a homebound 610X pulls up. No long lines or hysterical women today. I take the port side disabled seat. Veteran move. I know at this time of day the sun won't get me here, I'll have ample leg room and an arm rest at the perfect height to reel away the years, stowing away the time across the world famous Sydney Harbour Bridge. I won't be long now till I'll be reunited with my PSGs and be on my way to operate delicate machinery I'm unfamiliar with in a state of cosmic limb confusion.

The non-musical movie to broadway musical adaptation to film adaptation of the musical adaptation pipeline is really the perfect Hollywood scheme

I am not really getting the Skyrim hype. There is a lot of good there but it just feels like another entry in the Bethesda Elder Scrolls/Fallout series.

This year I really sat down and played a lot of the major popular open world games of the last decade all the way through including Skyrim and GTA V, and honestly no game's open world feels better and more alive than RDR2.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is a top five game of all time.

Video game opinions are very different from films ones. Overall it feels like game criticism is more unified and usually more "correct". I don't know as much about the different schools of thought but because of how long you spend in a game and the fact that you must actively participate makes it easier to see flaws and problems. There are still artistic points of view, but the game has to be fun to play first.
