I've never seen a Grownups movie, but I watch this clip all the time.

 

I love movies I only know from one random scene on Youtube

 

I only knew “Euphoria” from the scene of Zendaya tearing apart a door and Sydney Sweeney getting confronted by her friend. After watching the show, I wished I would have just stuck to those two scenes.

 

I loved this movie as a kid and never thought twice over the absurdity of this scene until Paul Rudd made it a gag

 

that’s very true, a cornerstone of growing up is watching those slightly inappropriate but not totally crude PG13 comedies

 

I thought this thread was for unpopular entertainment opinions, not objectively correct ones.

 

We don't need comedies

 

I don't seek out comedy films, and haven't for a long time now. Which isn't to say I don't seek out funny stuff, cause I do, but it's usually anime nowadays or bust. I definitely couldn't see myself going to a theater for one.

 

Here's an unpopular opinion probably.

Party down is...fine at best so far (watching for the first time and almost done season 1). Adam Scott is great and I need Lizzy caplan in more things. But it's not that funny.

 

I loved it when it aired but rewatched the first 2 season recently and I agree. It’s just whatever.

 

Kind of agree. I think Scott and Caplan’s chemistry and Ken Marino’s commitment to being as pathetic as possible goes a long way. But there’s a lot of low hanging fruit that it swats at in the most predicable way. It’s a perfectly fine hangout, but nothing I would recommend to newcomers.

 

Exactly! It kind of sucks that the new studio comedies are all like hard R comedies. The only two PG-13 ones that come to mind is that terrible David Garbour ghost comedy no one watched and “Dungeons and Dragons” (which does look good).

 

I just rewatched Party Down over the weekend and still found it hilarious. Tons of laughs. But, I only watched it for the first time like 2 years ago

 

Party Down is fantastic

 

A coworker told me professional sports are staged and the outcome is predetermined, like professional wrestling. It lives rent free in my head now.

 

As a whole, not a chance.

But do I think it's interesting that the New England PATRIOTS won the Super Bowl after the 2001 season? Yes.

 

Some Serie A seasons were definitely basically professional wrestling
