    I don't know--maybe? The plant is located in Texas, thus, would potentially be open most the time.

    Anyways, I don't know enough as to how vinyl is pressed, materials on hand, etc but does seem to have a lot of issues with the quality. Sad to hear but luckily, all 3 of mine have been fine.

    And yes, re-press Disamb!!!

    These comments are making me very worried....also had mine ship to Dallas and then get returned because my "address doesn't exist" even though I got my shirt delivered months ago lol

    I've literally never charged anything back, but I paid with a credit card...so if mine is fucked up and they don't want to resolve it I can work with my CC company to get my $85 back?

    Yup. You just have to make the case that the goods you purchased is faulty and that the merchant is not cooperating in working to resolve it with you. It’s not a sure fire thing but like I’ve said - after working in Risk - I’ve seen credit card companies side with their customer over a merchant on some really stupid cases.. so I think this has legs.

    I already filed my charge back and I’m just waiting on paperwork now to finalize it.

    I emailed them regarding shipping after seeing so many people here and on social media receiving theirs. I received a response that said they're shipping them as they're pressed "in the order in which we received orders." I ordered my set within a half hour of them going live, so that's a straight up lie. It's been just under two months since they sent the first batches out.

    For whatever reason, this band is the only one I ever have issues with when it comes to merch. I had to beg the band on Twitter to have someone contact me regarding never receiving my tour vinyl from the VIP package on the Erase Me tour. I sent 7 emails over the course of 3 months and never received a single response. I finally just straight up tagged the band on Twitter, they contacted my privately a day later, and I had a response from the email I was trying to reach within 48 hours.

    I order just LITSOS and have not heard a peep in months. Still crossing my fingers.

    Possibly related anecdote. My heat pump went out in February and the contractor said I needed a part to fix it. They ordered it from somewhere in Texas and it didn't arrive until just last week. So maybe industry in TX is affected in non-visible ways.

    My understanding is yes just box sets. I ordered one, then would listen to another and be like I want that one too, basically ordered all three separate and haven't gotten one yet.

    OK. So, I did not receive a call back from the plant owner after I initially called them. So I called again, and spoke with the first person who answered the phone. After a 20 minute phone call about how their statement on the issues with this pressing contradicts their entire website, I received a SUPER long email. It basically said they are adjusting how they are pressing that record going forward and will be replacing the records that suffer from these issues. So they are moving in the direction of replacing damaged records from the sounds of it. Though who knows how long until people see those, considering that a ton of people haven't received their initial order yet.

    I received my boxed set yesterday - no shipping notice, it just showed up. It was very poorly shrink-wrapped, but overall well packaged, so thankfully, no damage.

    I thought I'd escaped the issues, as Side A of TOCS played perfectly and sounded good. The back half of Dangerous Business was an absolute mess, though. Multiple skips. The rest of Side B is totally fine. Playing on a Denon DP-300F. I've never had a single issue with any record I've ever thrown at it.

    I could be wrong, but when this was advertised, didn't they say the box would be special? I don't remember if it was supposed to be holographic or what, but it's just a box. There's nothing special about it. I don't even recall how much extra I paid for it at this point, because it's been so long.

    Definitely planning on reaching out regarding a TOCS replacement, as everyone should, though I expect very little at this point. It's hard to kind of "go at" a band I love, but the truth is, this kind of business wouldn't be acceptable with any other good. Just disappointing all the way around.

    Finally got around to spinning the entire box set. Here's the weird thing for me: TOCS was perfect. No skips. DTGL had massive skipping on "Writing on the Walls" and LITSOS had the same issue on "Desolate Earth: The End is Near". I reached out through the email posted previously, provided video evidence of the issues, and was told I'll be sent replacements for both. That was last Monday. I'll keep y'all posted on this.

    Man two great songs. Honestly I feel very bad for you guys when you said there were a lot of skips on TOCS, BUT I would be more upset if I had skips on DTGL or LITSOS

    I had the same thoughts. I can even forgive skips on DTGL since I have the tour variant, but I really really want LITSOS to work.

    Yeah, I completely agree. I don't even like TOCS that much, but having the biggest single of the band's career (I think) and the final track of LITSOS skip like that was just unacceptable. I love both those records in their entirety. I think the only track I would've been okay with skipping on either record is "Salmarnir", cause it's always been a throwaway for me.

    Haven't gotten a tracking update since April 5th after it was considered dead mail and sent back to Austin after making it to a USPS facility in my city - I requested a refund. I just don't care anymore. This was an impulse buy that I was looking forward to for the special-ness feeling of the box set (and that I don't have LISTOS on vinyl), but I just would rather have my $85 back.

    The fact that it's been ten months and I haven't gotten any kind of update since they said that it was delayed in February is absolutely wild. I feel even more frustrated for those who ordered the box set and still don't have it/have a messed up copy.

    Botched release for sure. I was pretty sympathetic with COVID and Raccoon infiltration but damn. 10 months seems like enough time to figure things out. Big mis-collaboration between the band's management and vinyl plant.

    Randomly just got a email saying TOCS is out for delivery. Checked and looks like it is coming today. I made the mistake of ordering every album one at a time so we will see when the others come. Hopefully no skipping issues!

    Yep just got my LITSOS shipment notification as well!
