Yeah, I hate these lyrics. Probably not gonna bother reading the others until I listen to the songs tho.

 

not really into this song. dont hear any thrice, although i wish i did

 

this is absolutely awful.

 

dustin has never sounded as weak as spencer sounds on this song

 

this suuuuuucks

it's not even just spencer. there's nooooothing interesting going on with the guitars. drums sound fine but are pretty boring. some of the synth and programming stuff in the bridge is cool but they've done much better.

 

I think it's forgettable and probably will end up being skipped fairly often when I have the album, but I think Spencer sounds fine and I wouldn't call it awful. It is pretty catchy in places.

I’m not that worried about whether or not I’ll like the album yet, but yeah I really don’t like this song or see myself coming around to it. It’s honestly a little surprising to me that this band managed to even write something this weak.

 

its like they're only chasing safety with all the youthful charm sucked out of it. its self serious but not very interesting.

 

going from disambiguation to this is extremely disappointing and everything i was worried about with this reunion. really hope the rest of the album proves me wrong but while on my teeth was alright, the impression that and this song give off leaves my hype completely deflated.

 

Hoping the other tracks have some more varied guitar parts.

I really think tracks 6-11 are gonna be really liked by you two

 

there's a riff on the final track that I think you'll be stoked on but the record doesn't really get to that super heavy level of Disambiguation.

 

one riff on an 11 track album isnt much to get hype about

 

liking half the album also isnt much to get hyped at but its better than nothing

if people want to write off the record after this song that's fine but this track doesn't represent the overall direction of the album at all

I like the entire album - this song is my least favorite song and still is but it has grown on me a ton the more I listen to it.

 

havent written off the album but based on both of the singles im definitely not excited. its not like im not gonna listen and decide i hate it without listening but im definitely not at all excited anymore

 

that' fair - I've learned many years ago to not to try to convince people on if they'll like something or not without hearing the entire thing.

Revisiting the Sleepwave album since so many people are making that comparison... I still enjoy this album. It gets a bit repetitive but the highlights are really strong.

 

I don't hate the song. I think its pretty interesting, some interesting chord choices. Aaron's vocals in the bridge are cool. interesting they did a full song without screaming. I think the vocals at the end sound really cool too. I totally get though why someone would be disappointed if they wanted to hear something like their last album.
