Bloodlust verses aren't great but I like the chorus and bridge. the play between Aaron and Spencer in the chorus is cool.

While I’m fine having loneliness as a bonus track to listen to when the albums done... imagine on my teeth into loneliness into bloodlust. I think people would have been way more on board with the record

I love sink with you, and that drum beat is straight from Paramore’s Self titled

Really wish I could hear Loneliness. Keep forgetting to check it out when I'm at home.

Really ? Most albums in rock or metal that I listen to, usually give me about 30-40 spins in the first month or two before I get tired of them.

Yeah. Even after like ten listens of an album I’m ready for a good month or two break.

i don't think i listened to most, if any, of my 2017 top 5 30+ all year let alone in 2 weeks lol

    I do not exist.

I'm extremely disappointed with an album that I've paid for if I don't get at least 25 listens before I want to move on.

i still think Bloodlust is a legitimately great song. aside from that this albums just kinda there but hey glad people are digging it.

  11. My top 5 last year went SZA, The Maine, Circa Survive, Slowdive, and Big Thief, and I 100% listened to all of those at least 30x each within the first couple of weeks

Yea usually depends on genre and type of album as well. For example If there's a lot of layers and really strong melodies it's a lot easier to get a lot of plays out of an album. Paramore's last album got about 40-50 plays within the first month or two.

Also If I take an album to the gym that increases the amount of plays exponentially lol

  13. I end up listening to so many records that it's really rare if a record gets more than 10 listens from me. That's not a reflection of quality or interest, I just have way too many records to keep up with!

That's weird to me. If an album comes out and I love it, I'll listen to it loads

  15. Same. I decided like two years ago I wanted more time with albums to really let them hit me in ways I wasn’t getting. I missed the era of one cd in my car/discman and memorizing every moment.

I find having every album available on Apple Music/Spotify to be pretty paralyzing to me a lot of the time haha. I kinda miss having my sequence of five or six albums in the car that way I don’t have to think about it. Thinking about returning to that (while driving at least) tbh.

I still and will probably always do that!

That being said, everyone's end of the year album lists make it clear I don't experience as much as most people because of that that.

I’ve been doing that more too. I’ve listened to far fewer new albums this year, but I’m still spending a ton of time with 10-20 albums from last year

Same here - I bought the Target edition of the album (my first CD in YEARS) and glad I did as I've been driving a lot for work lately and have gotten to spend a ton of time with Erase Me vs. my typical Spotify jumping around between artists . It's made me like it more than I expected I would.

This is me every year. And then I say “I’ll make an effort to listen to more music next year” and then it never happens.

I usually play new albums for a week. I’ve replaced the car drives with walks around campus. It gives me not only a chance to explore the album but to refocus my mind and relax.

  24. I've thought about doing that, but then I keep finding some unexpected album that I never would have listened to had I just stuck with fewer records. Right now, I'm willing to make that trade-off. I totally understand wanting to sit with an album for longer, just not at that spot right now.

This has been the only album I've binged in quite a while. I listen to a lot of music as well (anything but country), but I usually only listen to an album one full time through, and then revisit it later on once I've checked out everything else
