Hell yeah!! I went last year for the first time, it was incredible. I think they’d do well to book one metal band on the comeup. My vote for this year would be Rolo Tomassi, and last year they should have booked The Dillinger Escape Plan...but what can I say

True, it'll still be a great fest either way. Bon Iver will be great, and they booked a lot of interesting edm this year as well. Also, if you've never seen STS9 live I highly recommend you check them out. They'll play late night & they are one of the best jam bands ever.

I’m stoked for them honestly, they deserve it imo, regardless of whether I think this album is as good as it could be or not.

I don’t think it’s a bad thing at all. It was just weird to be in Target and be like...is that....Underoath??

I have seen them and yes I’ll be at their set if there’s no major conflicts. Awesome!

    I do not exist.

Spencer's singing grows on me the more that I listen. I mean, it's still not great in places but it's not as irritating.

I'm really enjoying these songs. It's an album that is different to how I would have predicted, but it's an excellent album nonetheless.

I liked the singles and the album on first listen through, but I’m encroaching on love it territory the more I listen.

I blow my own mind when I do too. But then I think that certain music/bands is weird to have on vinyl. Underoath is one of those bands for me haha. I always prefer listening to them via cd or digital. The vinyl variants of this album look sweet though.

Lurking AP since 2005. Lurking Chorus since 2016.

Rapture is sitting at 33 on Active Rock Radio right now. I think it debuted at like 48.

you're in a cult, call your dad

Learning to like this more every time I listen. I thought I was done with it after the first few spins despite really liking a few tracks, but I keep coming back to it because so many parts keep getting stuck in my head. It may not be what I wanted from them and I think it's lyrically really weak, but it's definitely a fun listen overall. (still can't stand Wake Me, no matter how hard I try to be okay with it)

And every time I hear "YOU! CAN'T! MAKE IT OKAY!" I can't not think it sounds like Static X for some reason.

Yeah that hook in Sink With You holds back what otherwise could be the best track on the album for me

Is the sample at the beginning of 'Sink With You' from the Wizard of Oz?

We reach for the longest shadow

Spencer screaming at the end of No Frame. That's all.

Fun fact from Chris' Instagram: "Sink With You," was going to be the opening track, and the jump scare ending was going to come at the end of the album lol.

  21. Still don’t like Rapture, but those little electronic blips during the silence of Sink With You would sound dope going into the beat that starts Rapture

Really glad they didn’t do that overall though, sounds more like a funny inside joke than a good idea

I just found out that Spencer and Aaron wrote two songs with Johnny Andrews, a collaborator with Three Days Grace, and John Feldman. Now it all makes sense.

I think On My Teeth would have been a better album opener on this album, and hope it becomes their opener live.
