Master of not knowing what the hell I'm doing.

Owen Smith in cabinet is a smart move but damn is it ballsy. If there's any way to get critics in line, it's bringing the candidate they all gathered round into cabinet again, especially given how important a role that is going to be right now.

Also really interesting to see is Lesley Laird's appointment- she only just entered parliament on Thursday.

The Tim Farron resignation is interesting.

Just out of interest, did anyone ever question May's views on homosexuality / marriage, gay sex being a sin, voting record in that area etc. during the election cycle? The media really kept digging with Farron but I don't recall them ever asking May (I may be wrong) who also professes to be a Christian. It's interesting they would hound one and not the other.

Yeah, Andrew Marr asked her if she thinks gay sex is a sin and she said "no". Her record on LGBT issues is pretty bad though

    Good to hear.

Sadly there are far too many politicians with a bad record on LGBT issues.

Queen's Speech will be next Wednesday.

Will this work? Is it advisable? Would a minority Labour government be good for them/Corbyn long term or would it cause them to lose support?

What the fuck is the point of this visit if she's not going to bother meeting people, this is disgraceful.

Maybe they're responding to Corbyn's attempt to amend the queen's speech. But still, the entire reason they're despised is because of their alignment with conservatives.

  22. I mean if there's another election after the ship of another referendum has sailed they'd probly get appx. 0 votes so fair play

Given their absolute anti-brexit approach I doubt it's an option on the table to them unless significant concessions were made. Just as unlikely on the Tory party's part as it is the lib Dems.

I think the answer is no to both of the questions. I can't imagine there'd be sufficient rebellion on the Conservatives part and as far as I'm aware it's not something that is strictly voted against on party lines. Besides, a minority government would face the same problems a conservative government on these numbers would face, that there'd be so much opposition the manifesto would be watered down to be basically nothing. Labour's best option is a rejection of the queen's speech triggering another election. We need a Labour majority and that's pretty much the end of it.

Even Piers Morgan is shitting on Theresa May. Her leadership isn't long for this world:
