    A+ episode

I was getting frustrated with Lynch, but this made it worth it, quite honestly.

I guess the big question remains: what in the actual fuck is up with Audrey?

I think she's either in a coma or the explosion at the bank, along with the rape, triggered a disassociation with reality.

I love the way Lynch plays with our expectations. I felt very similar the first time I watched Mullholand Dr. There's the scene where the man recounts his dream and then goes out back behind the restaurant and sees the vagrant and it's pretty terrifying. Then, later on in the film there are some floating shots down narrow corridors it the viewer is thinking, "what the hell is going to pop up around this corner" but nothing ever does.

We still have a showdown between the British Hulk, James, Naido, Chad, and the drunk guy in the sheriff's station when Cooper arrives. There is so much left for those last two hours.

I do love this scene. The Mitchum brothers are now one of some of my favorite characters:

Someone mentioned that "Naido" in Block Lodge speak would be, "oh, Diane"

Yeah, seems most likely. I'm just very curious where that last shot took place. Couldn't tell if it was a literal/physical place, or somewhere similar to the lodge.

All I want is for Coop to make it out alive so he can live out his days with Janey-E and Sonny Jim. That scene was so heartwarming.

Perfection. I had a friend over who's never seen any Twin Peaks who said he felt like it went nowhere and was so confused. I had to explain to him how perfect it was and all the answers and joy it provided me. He's officially starting S1 after his GoT binge.

The theme when Cooper returned, Audrey's Dance, the Richard Horne ending, Diane's fate was amazing. I can't wait to rewatch this one.

I think he plans on bringing back Dougie. That is why he stuttered and said Dougie would come home, and why he asked the one armed man for another of those orbs.

That was perfect, I was so giddy with Cooper coming to that I had happy tears welling and butterflies in my stomach. So well-played on all accounts.

Cooper's constant positivity and cheeriness was part of the larger storyline in the original show, but after hours of bleakness and a lack of a moral center, Cooper taking command like that was so heartwarming.

goddamn what a fucking phenomenal episode. I laughed pretty hard at MIKE literally going "finally!" when Coop woke up. Me too, MIKE, me too. (Though I loved all the Dougie stuff haha).

ALSO! After "Diane" vanished into the Black Lodge, Tammy said "Wow, a real tulpa!" I had to google it but

Episode of the series, more than worth the wait. I'm on such a high right now after this and Game of Thrones. What an episode for Eddie Vedder to be in. The Naido/"Oh, Diane" thing is interesting too.
