He is braking free from Blurry face who wants to silence him. Also multiple references to the village where the elders wearing red kept people in a secluded village by scaring them and the villagers used the color yellow to protect themselves.

 

Love the video, and idea of a three video story with new singles. Long wait until October still.

Yeah Levitate is dope as hell

 

first listen I like Nico more than Jumpsuit, but I'm sure the latter is going to grow on me.

 

I listened to Levitate the first time on my phone inbetween bands at the Panic! concert last night and my first impression was "That's not even Tyler, why do people believe everything on the internet". And the second time when we listened to it on the car on the way home, it sounded even less like Tyler. But now I've listened to it like 10 times and I know it's legit and I'm really digging it. The fact that Jumpsuit will open this album and go into this song which could not be more polar opposite is why I love these guys.

I knew this was gonna be a concept-ish album, so now that the full tracklist is out, I'm even more confused. Not to mention the lyrics of this song don't seem to have much to do with the "storyline" but if this will be part 3 of the video series I'm really curious how it'll tie in (of course, it's possible this song is not the 3rd video).

It looks like Levitate was meant to be released this Friday, and I assume with the reveal of the tracklisting and probably album pre-orders.

I wonder if this might convert people who don’t like his rapping because that is fire. Love how this album is turning out.

 

HYPE

 

They have released 3 singles, all of which are completely different from each other and none of which sound too much like anything they've done before, while still feeling completely Twenty One Pilots-esque. They sold out an arena tour while releasing songs that are anything but traditional mainstream hits and without really doing much promotion or any public appearances. These guys continue to amaze me. This era is going to be insane.

 

Album pre-orders are up. No full album vinyl at this time, just a 3 song EP vinyl with the three songs released so far.

But get yer cassette tapes before they sell out...

I get you...but it is three songs on the vinyl plus the full digital album for $15 so it's not the worst deal

Ah. I misread about how many songs on the vinyl.

I think I’m done with 7” and 10” vinyl EPs.

I never listen to them, and apart from collection purposes, they just clutter up my space.

Will wait for the whole record, I suppose.

Wasn't Blurryface released on vinyl well after the initial release? You'd think with them being way bigger now though that it'd all be one rollout.

 

Are Mutemath involved in this song in any way the ending sounds like their collab a bit

 

Loving this new song. Think it may be my favorite of the three released so far, even though I think they are all awesome.

 

Paul Meany basically confirmed it on Twitter. He may as well be an honorary member of the band at this point.

 

Has he? He’s only tweeted once since any of these three songs were released. I know I’m like 95% sure he’s involved but I don’t see anything on his Twitter that could relate
