Yeah we’ve been saying that about Loathe for 2 years

 

I am not plugged into behind the scenes for either band but based on vibes alone i think Turnstile will drop before Loathe

 

need a new album in 2025

I want new turnstile as much as the next guy, but have they had the chance to rest at all? Seems like they've been going full blast for years.

 

I feel like they've only been doing one offs for the last year

 

they haven't played since August according to setlist.fm and nothing announced until June. Seems like they went hard with fests this past spring/summer too but winter before that was a long stretch of down time as well. I think they're gonna be plenty recharged for a new album cycle.

 

yeah just checked setlist.fm, they had a big break from late november/march 2024, and it's been a latin america tour and european festivals since then

 

That sounds like plenty of off time to recharge and/or spend in the studio.

 

I know they went hard for a long time, but also they aren't old, and in general weren't sleeping in vans or anything. They're playing festivals and hanging out with Post Malone and Dua Lipa, and probably have a true touring bus. Not the normal grueling touring schedule of a hardcore band.

 

Alright sick. New album 2025 or bust then.
