"Skeletons" is so fucking good. Also thought I heard Cudi humming on "Stop Trying To Be God"

 

Yup this is his best overall so far, mid section is a little weak but its still great.

 

Two songs in so far. Carousel is so good. I didn't read the features before pressing play so when Frank came in it was a nice surprise.

 

I wanted to give Mac my full attention for at least a day or two before I dive into this but if even people on this site are liking it I might not be able to wait any longer

Feature list looks outstanding. It's really annoying to me though that Butterfly Effect is on this and Watch isn't, I might add the latter somewhere

 

listened to 6 songs off this and was not converted to a fan. Wake Up stood out the most, but that was because of The Weeknd. Drake's verses are solid. Otherwise, I still absolutely despise hearing him drop his same ad libs all over the place, and he still does it here so I guess it's just not for me still

 

Really enjoying this.

Was disappointed as soon as Drake showed up but rest of the song was great.

 

Totally zoned out the first couple of songs

 

Admittedly I just skimmed about 7-8 tracks but honestly they all sounded the same to me.

 

This is just like kind of boring

 

I've never really fucked with Travis, he hasn't really done anything that stands out to me, but the features and production this thing has makes me interested to give him another shot

 

so after a first listen I enjoy about 11 songs on this which is pretty good compared to previous stuff.

I am still in the camp that Watch should have been on here and Nav still sucks and people need to stop using him.

 

Alright Sicko Mode is hot

 

Skeletons is straight up Ye flow

 

Is saying "It's lit!" his catchphrase or something? Because good lord the amount of times he plugs that into these songs is kind of cringe

I realize how old I sound saying that so maybe it's just me

Like I'm fine with the phrase and people using it but just, wow he REALLY uses it

 

That and straight up is his ad lib of choice

 

Alright well this thing does have highlights!(Sicko Mode, Stop Trying To Be God, Coffee Bean probably my top 3) But it still does what my main problem is with him, I feel like a lot of it is pretty standard trap. Which I can totally bop to no problem, but I'm not gonna be invigorated by it really. It's fine though, I am glad I gave it a listen.

Oh the production does definitely help too.

Yeah Gunna was the most enjoyable thing about this album on first listen

YA YA YA YA is the other ad lib catchphrase. I am sick of all of them

 

Played some unreleased songs on his Beats 1 radio show. Zoom (feat. Gunna), Houdini (feat. Playboi Carti), and Part Time. Definitely glad they didn't make the album.
