I figured that day would sell out the quickest. I bought a Sunday ticket but I also assumed that'll be the slowest selling day.

 

Upheaval Fest started announcing their lineup. Rob Zombie's headlining Day 1.

 

No surprise that Olivia's day of govball sold out already. And honestly good for Govball, I dont think they've experienced a fast sell out like that since 2016.
I would really love to see Olivia live one day, but I think being surrounded by 40,000 screaming youths would kill me haha.

 

Look, I did Chappell Roan at Lolla last year and it was the most fun I've had even in a crowd of 80k+.

 

Well shit, missed out on Turnover tix

 

I just have PTSD from going alone to see The 1975 almost 8 years ago when I was 30. It felt like all these teenagers staring at me like who's dad is that?

 

Damn I made the right call getting a presale Turnover ticket

 

Not sure if this was posted before. They just announced a show in Mexico City and noticed they are touring the US a well

 

Not that I’m surprised but bots/resellers pillaged the turnover tickets in my area. This is truly unsustainable.

 

Turnover selling out the Portland show in under an hour is super impressive. B & C is great support but didn’t think tickets would move that fast.

Just snagged surprise Tom Morello tickets at Chain Reaction next week for a wildfire benefit/NAMM show.

 

Had to get out of town because of the big show in town on Monday, but otherwise would have been there. Hope it's good!

I bought a ticket strictly for Olivia since it's proven to be impossible for me to purchase tickets to any of her own tours in the area. Have zero interest seeing one other artist in the lineup.

In this situation what time would you recommend I arrive to have a good view of the headliner with a standard GA ticket? This will be my first time attending Gov Ball.

 

I semi-regretted buying my ticket right after getting it for this very reason!

 

Just be prepared for the gov ball crowd, very much an under 18, high school crowd. The Friday and Sat lineup def appeal to the teen set so hopefully it’ll still be a good vibe.

Main stage area blows, hopefully people don’t camp there all day for Olivia and kill the vibe up front for the other acts before her.

 

I saw Billie Eilish at Gov Ball 2021. I highly recommend just staying at the absolute back, it was a nightmare lol

HA I feel you. Ironically I’m starting to semi regret NOT buying a ticket. But only on the condition that I would just stand all the way in the back close to the bar and away from the hyper aggressive young fans.

 

I imagine people will be camped out the entire day but if you make a point to position yourself for the act before her, you should have a decent view. My old ass will be there on Sunday in the VIP/Front Viewing area.
