This happened to me at Lolla 2021, someone was selling me a Jimmy Eat World aftershow ticket at Metro but decided go back home to rest. I was so mad at myself when I saw they played Bleed American in full. At least I saw it at wwwy last year.

Hot Mulligan played all of Why Would I Watch in 2023 on their winter headliner. They didn't announce it though, and it was out of order/spread through with other songs.

Yeah I ditched that tbs tour when I saw the set. I need a little time to digest and learn an album. Hard to be into a performance when you don’t know the songs. And didnt help that tidal wave was a huge drop off from happiness is

I saw Jimmy Eat World on the Futures tour and it ruled because that album is perfect

bands just need to be more self aware of the impact of the album if they're going to do an album play. don't just do it because it's been 10 years or whatever, do it because people actually resonated with that particular record and want to hear the deep cuts live

Joyce Manor’s recent NHA shows were great. Granted that album is only 19 minutes so they basically played a regular set afterwards

    idk man

Granted it was only an EP but Issues played the entirety of Black Diamonds unannounced on their last two shows. I think that's the only unannounced one that's happened so far.

Also: with regards to that Blink post I could 1000% see them playing the warped dates. Speaking of which, anyone got any info on that? We're getting close to announcements.

Warped has a countdown to Jan 28th (12am oddly) on their website, so presumably that's when the first wave of bands is announced.

I think there are a handful of rumors (MGK, Avril, Falling In Reverse, Ice Nine Kills) but nothing super concrete or unpredictable.

Anthony Raneri said tonight at his show that we should have “all the information we need about the Bayside Errors Tour in the next few weeks”

Confirmed it was coming to Cleveland!

The Trophy Eyes stage diving incident last year that caused a girl to suffer a spinal injury has now resulted in the venue being forced to close.

Anthony Raneri did a solo acoustic set the other night and announced Mohawk Place in Buffalo was closing permanently after the show.

Really sucks that a local venue is closing due to the stupid decision of one band. I’ll never forget seeing FOB do a surprise show there billed as Schrute Farms, or the many ETID shows there over the years.

Is it implied the venue got sued because of it and that's why?

yea it does suck, I know in the moment everyone pointed out “it’s just a rock show” but really the height of that stage, the size of the man etc etc it was a disaster waiting to happen. It’s most likely gonna bankrupt trophy eyes as well. Which again for the rest of the band that didn’t make that decision sucks for them, the woman who got hurt, just an awful scenario all around made from a split second dumb decision.

yep, looks like the promoter might be going out of business too, After Dark Events. Really sucks because that idiots stupid decision to stage dive left a person with a traumatic injury and fucked the WNY region as After Dark is the biggest promoter of punk/hardcore/EDM shows.

Great venue to do it at too. I really thought it was going to be one Forest Hills show in the summer. That said, she could do All Things Go there if that happens again.

Very random conflict/opportunity for me but the Japanese Breakfast dates overlap a bunch with Clap Your Hands Say Yeah dates. May do some East Coast hopping to hit the dates, since I’m aiming to be in Philly for Kendrick/SZA the week of the Northeast run for JB and CYHSY
