Allow me to explain.. Creed yesterday announced new US dates on their socials and I commented on their post on Instagram saying UK dates please, now usually no members of the band like the comments on their posts but as u's see below both Eric Friedman the touring guitarest and Scott Stapp himself liked this post.. they never do usually.. maybe just maybe Creed UK dates r finally in works

soad at soldier field is pretty much completely sold out. there's only a few 100 single seats left scattered throughout the stadium and platinum 100 level tickets

metlife is also sold out from the looks of it.

i dont think they held much back for the general onsale on friday

I only knew "Mama's Room" back in the day and it's a very 2006 song, I can say that much

I don't think presales typically release all seats - I think just a percentage.

    idk man

I mean, if you aren't going to use it, I'm sure someone could put it to good use (I kid, I kid!)

both met life and chicago had everything up when i got in from the looks of it. the whole % thing doesn't really exist anymore. they sell whatever they can during the presales. some shows completely sell out during the presales. and thats why they add a 2nd show so fast

  8. it may have my name on it, i'm not totally sure yet. but the promoter is hooking me up with a pass because i played a couple of their other shows this year.

I got into the presale pretty early (only 6k were ahead of me) and that map looked like basically every seat was available. I honestly don't think anything was held back. Similarly for Oasis they sold out during the presale.

Yea I don’t believe venues hold anything back anymore. All arena and stadium shows have everything available usually.

they will hold plenty of seats back if its one of those like citi only presales for the regular presale

lolll, venues will never not have holds, especially at the arena level

presale allotments vary, its all up to the artist, but 90% is pretty common these days

It’s a perfect day for letting go... Supporter

The thing to remember is like bands like the police or whatever old 70’s or 80’s band, a lot of them in their heyday, were only playing 1-4k cap rooms too. Time and nostalgia does a number for bands.

I was thinking the other day about all the legendary shows that happened back in the day at 924 Gilman Street and CBGB. Those places were like 350 cap rooms. If you’ve been involved in the DIY scene for any amount of time you’ve probably been to shows that were just as full & crazy as those old shows; only difference is they’ll never be romanticized in a coffee table book for yuppies

You also won't fully realize how special some of those shows really were until about 10-20 years later. Part of what makes people view the Gilman and CBGB shows as "legendary" is because of how popular and influential those bands became. Which takes time.

I had no idea. I used to listen to "Eighteen" so much back in the day.

It reminds how people get their mind blown when they find out the guy from Portugal The Man was in a screamo band (Anatomy Of A Ghost).
