this would make me happy. though they (he?) have released like 2 albums since i saw them last so im interested what the setlist will look like.

 

mewithoutyou have been teasing something this week. kinda doubt its a tour (i dont think theyd come back so soon) and probably a vinyl reissue or something but wanted to clock it.

 

Anyone know who the TBA band is?

Judging from who Counterparts is following on Instagram it looks like they might be touring with Pain of Truth, Malevolence, and Foreign Hands.

 

That would be such a sick bill

Yeah, I really do wonder what the future of KROQ is and, essentially, alt radio in general. They target an audience that are probably the most forward thinking of all formats in terms of adapting streaming and other methods for discovering new music. Maybe they (KROQ) will just eventually be like a "Classic alternative" station playing music exclusively from the 80's, 90's and 00's and these festivals will just be old grizzled bands for the next 10 years.

 

Papa Roach & Rise Against at Jones Beach is....a very ambitious booking.
