I'll be doing merch/pics this weekend in Philly/LI/North Jersey if anyone is free come say hi; Halogens just added a 5th member (keyboard/trumpet) & Have A Good Season added a 4th (guitar)

 

Sold out but I think this looks like a total blast. Fun combo

 

They’re not my cup of tea, but it’s pretty great seeing Scowl getting on all these lineups. Showing all these old punks who’s boss now

 

After talking all that shit about cruises this week, this line-up was the one that made me say "OMFG! I'm in!" And it's sold out.

That'll fuckin' teach me.

The Living End are one of my partner's top five all-time favorite bands and she's always said that if they play anywhere in the continental US we'd need to go see them so... This kinda counts? Haha.

 

i completely forgot they existed. i didn't guess a single band on this years cruise, but pretty happy with the lineup

 

I guess compared to previous years the 2nd-4th bills aren't as strong.... but I think Living End is a really UNIQUE get, which I appreciate. I also love the bottom card of street dogs, tossers, good riddance and scowl!

So tomorrow? With ticket sales next week? Idk but they act like it’s the same team who brought you the original when it’s actually gonna be different people.

 

I can see it not looking as "strong" but it definitely feels a bit more unique than a lot of other years. For me, at least, it's kind of a perfect combination of bands I really enjoy but haven't seen 20+ times already or that I haven't seen much recently because they've not been as active (at least not in the northeast).

 

A half pipe on a cruise ship seems wild.

 

Mayhem has also been talking about coming back for the last four years so who knows whether there's actual validity to it anymore or more akin to a Bamboozle event

 

I could see Mayhem Fest as just a destination festival in Southern California at the Glen Helen Amphitheater or BMO Stadium. Maybe an east coast and Midwest date as well. I definitely don’t see it as a touring festival hitting amphitheaters like it used to, unless they booked something like Slipknot, Knocked Loose, Kublai Khan, and another band then I could see it being successful with a small amount of bands.
