Most under attended show I ever saw was Bob Moses at the State Theatre in Ithaca, April 2022.

It was a Sat night in a college town, thought there would be a decent crowd. Maybe 75 people in a theatre that held close to 1000.

It was great though, there was no barricade and they had everyone come up and fill in the orchestra pit to dance there. Did a whole set with full production, it felt like watching a tour rehearsal but it was incredible.

I saw Jacks Mannequin at an arcade in Vegas with my 2 buddies and 5 total other people. I wanna say it was Jacks like 3rd show ever? It was an incredible show and Andrew was shocked we knew every word of Kill The Messenger

  7. In 2013 I saw Civil Twilight play an 800-cap room to me, the three friends I dragged to the show, maybe five other people, and the opening band. They were amazing.

I forgot that I saw Straylight Run in 2007 at the Agora in Cleveland. I had no idea they had dropped in popularity and assumed the show was going to be in the venue's theatre - especially with The Color Fred and Cassino opening, and was stunned when I got there it was in the venue's Ballroom instead. It wasn't egregiously under-attended, but was sort of jarring when I was expecting 2K people (in the theatre) and there were maybe a few hundred in the ballroom. Went home that night to find out that they had literally just been dropped from Universal Records the day before.

I saw a John Nolan/Geoff Rickly solo show in 2013 at a place that holds 300-400 and there were maybe 30-40 people there. I remember it being Mother's Day, but still surprised at how little attended it was.

I saw Jim Adkins on his solo tour with about 13 other people.

I saw Brand New play the Devil and God in an arena to about 300 people.

I just want to say that while I’m happy Ithaca is getting more shows, was always frustrating that nothing basically ever came there while I went to school at IC. Maybe shows like this are why?

Did you go to Cornell when M.I.A. played there in like 2009-2010ish? That show was truly wild.

I saw Sherwood on their QU tour and there were probably 10-15 people there. It was one of my best show experiences. Funny enough, Hot Chelle Rae opened up and they absolutely exploded shortly after that tour.

I saw The Sleeping headline in support of 'The Big Deep' forever ago with Tides of Man and PM Today opening. Venue holds 700ish and I'd be shocked if 100 people showed up.

I was there 2002-06. Saw Incubus with a then new 30 Seconds To Mars, Jimmy Eat World/TBS, Death Cab/Franz Ferdinand and Third Eye Blind all at Cornell haha. Most shows we'd drive to Syracuse, Rochester, Buffalo or Binghamton which were all B-C markets so...coming from market #1 it was my first true taste of tours not coming to where I was.

Saw twenty one pilots play to like less then 10 ppl in like 2012 it was a very small crowd so they had to do the summing in middle of floor and not in the crowd like at other shows when they do

I was grounded and couldn’t go to this show haha. Still regret not seeing PM Today before they broke up.

  18. My high school band opened for them at a park picnic shelter and I left before they played because I was a fucking idiot.

Saw Bleachers at a corporate event in December last year in Vancouver. Couldn't have been more than 30 people at the show.

Yeah it was a great show regardless, it's one of the only times I've seen them use that black divider curtain at the Bottom Lounge haha.

I saw The Hotelier open for The Get Up Kids back in 2015 and there was straight up 30 people there during their set. Not sure if it filled out later in the night, I bailed before the headliner

Creepers first show in the US was at the Beat Kitchen in Chicago. Maybe 12 people there. It was a blast. They were so happy to play in front of Americans for the first time. Great people.

Saw Hawthorne Heights play my city’s 200 cap diy venue to maybe 40 people.

Also saw ROAM, Like Pacific & Bearings play that venue to maybe 20 people. I think they expected it to sell better because all of those bands had played it before and drawn good crowds— but that night Fall Out Boy happened to be playing another venue in town with MGK and State Champs and I think most people who would’ve gone were at that instead.
