Clearly, they're talking about Tilly Wheelgig's Irish Blarney Brigade. Saw them open for Flatfoot once.

 

Seriously, though, that line-up is ridiculous. I really, really, really fucking hate that the Defiant are on it though. After hearing Dicky speak on the whole thing in a podcast recently... It's less about his problematic personal views (because he never got to espouse those on a major platform thanks to the rest of his band) and more about the "old punk guy yelling about how everybody wants to 'cancel him'" vibe. It's just super whack and not interesting.

 

Yeah, it really sucks that a lot of their peers are supporting them. Kinda makes you wonder if their whole thing is something a lot of people in those bands actually agree/adhere to, or if they’re just completely ignorant and sweeping it under the rug, even if they don’t necessarily agree…

Like honestly? The Aquabats having them as an opener for their holiday show in December was a bummer too. Not to mention they got so much backlash for it that they removed them from the poster, but didn’t take them off the lineup…
