I also think it really is (was?) a matter of time before the festival bubble burst.... It used to really just be Coachella, Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza so not only could lineups be more diverse but it was a rarity to get all these high level acts in one place....now nearly every city has their own festival with a lot of overlap

 

When I said Billy Joel x Stevie Nicks. I meant Billy Joel x Sting. I guess I was half-tuned into what he said and I heard “Billy Joe” and then “S” my brain just went “oh, okay” and I guess I just heard Stevie because I’m a POS and was not listening.

with parkway drive playing that hopefully they have a summer USA tour booked.

 

Parkway / Beartooth seems like a very obvious small arena/amphitheatre co-headliner for the summer.

 

Slow your Jelly Roll, Tomorrowland. Sheesh

 

It's going to primarily be divorced dads named Kevin who don't have visitation rights that weekend and think that music peeked in 2003.

 

For what it’s worth, Beartooth is also on Upheaval Festival the day after they play Rock Fest.

 

im more distracted by the fact they listed the days sat -> fri -> thurs.

 

So this is why they skipped Toronto on their headliner. I grabbed a ticket

 

really helps to remember that our tastes here are definitely the minority!
