Even then, I think every national touring band comes down to All Stars. Local bands would be the promoter I think.

 

That's true. Weren't we supposed to get an All Stars announcement last week?

 

agents ask promoters for local support suggestions, and agents get the final approval

for the record, the exact quote: "Almost time for another headliner. What do you think North America?? Who do you want to see us on the road with?"

 

They said "next week" on October 2. Obviously we are long past that week.

 

All stars will be shit don't worry about it

I'd personally love to see Carnifex do a sort of locals only tour with like one other big band for support. Say Carnifex and Black Tongue with local support from each date. That'd be a good show.

Sidenote, anyone know what The Browning is up to lately? I know they dropped a new music video today but I'm 90% sure they haven't toured on their new album yet, at least as a headliner.

 

They did. With Bermuda and Fire From the Gods. It was a sick show.

 

not sure but the word alive are counting down to something (telle has posted on his twitter "12" and then today "11" and the band account RT both) they did say their was a reason behind the title "overdose" tour. any ideas?

they did say their were songs that they finished that didn't make the cut, i believe. with a name like overdose, i'd bet it's heavy.

That would of been a good show. I guess I had spaced that run since it was so short. Hopefully they play on All Stars or something.

Thinking about it, I wouldn't be surprised if Knocked Loose are on FYS's rumored RODT 10 year tour. I have reasons.

1. FYS recently shared KL's new album on Twitter and KL commented, "let's play a show". I know some bands tend to do this, but....
2. They're labelmates (Pure Noise)
3. FYS has obviously took out hardcore bands before (Comeback Kid, Expire)

 

I keep getting notifications that Bandsintown is changing the location of House of Blues from Chicago to Chicago Heights. It's really annoying for all the shows I have RSVP'd for there.

 

Forget if we discussed this in here before or not but Parkway Drive has stated that they won't be back in the states for a "long time" and don't have any shows for the next 5 months period.

 

I think KL is going to be direct for someone else in the Spring but that would definitely be sick

 

Apparently there are rumors that The Original Misfits will be playing a surprise Halloween show on Monday, but I haven't seen anything.
