The Asbury Park Brewery in Flemington NJ? Hmmm, that doesn't sound right.

 

Honestly this is just a weird tour in general

They're playing large clubs like The Fillmore in Detroit and the Hammerstein Ballroom in Manhattan (both under 3000 cap) and also playing massive event centers like The Forum and the EagleBank Arena in Fairfax. (Both above 10,000 cap)

 

Some of these venues don't make a lot of sense. They're playing 8,000-9,000 cap venues in Minneapolis and Orlando, but 5,000 and 3,000 cap venues in Chicago and NY, respectively.

 

You read my mind.

 

Last time they were in Chicago they sold out the Aragon Ballroom (5K cap) weeks in advance. I won't be surprised if this album will bring them deeper into the mainstream and into an arena tour.

 

I honestly thought they'd be playing UIC Pavilion this time around.

 

saw them at the house in asbury. literally the worst crowd, me and about 3 other people were the only ones who seemed to care. and then one guy was crowd killing to in the middle of it all

 

NY doesn't have a bigger venue that has a decent GA area that would make sense for them. Next biggest would be Theater at MSG, which has a GA area, but too small, and after that would be Barclays center (too big/ expensive).

 

Around 3,000 cap venues in Dallas & Houston as well

 

I mean like, the Forum makes a little sense? It’s the only SoCal date, so maybe they can get people from OC and maybe San Diego too, but yeah... I’m scratching my head at the rest of these

 

Does TWY hate West Michigan or something? They haven’t been here since the TSSF coheadliner...

 

Last tour they added extra dates in cities that sold out quickly, like NY

 

I think it's a venue issue. Pyramid Scheme is too small, 20 Monroe is too big. Intersection is just too big for this type of tour. Just bad timing more than anything.

wonder what the reason is for citizen decline in popularity ? is it the last album they
put out ? first album was solid

 

The second Citizen album wasn't very well recieved by fans. And it is easily their worst.

 

I was hoping for pyramid scheme so badly but knew it was probably very unlikely haha

 

Last time BMTH played LA they had to upgrade to outdoor stage. Makes sense that they're playing the forum here

 

Ugh, that Antarctigo Vespucci show in Chicago is in November. There are just too many solid shows happening in November.

 

I love the second Citizen record. I prefer EIGTH + AYP to Youth. Even though Youth is great too

 

How about The new 800 cap room Elevation at the intersection? I just need my TWY fix without a 2.5-3 hr drive haha

 

Orlando is the only Florida date and every time they play Orlando they sell out the venue they are playing and the next time they upgrade so it makes sense they are playing CFE Arena
