I don't care for either opener but Brand New fans should eat this up.

 

I know it makes z e r o sense but I really enjoy The Front Bottoms and can't stand Modern Baseball. A FL date would be amazing.

 

The openers blow Brand New out of the water for me. Always wanted a TFB, Modern Baseball tour

 

Yep that's a real tour. Should be awesome

 

Not holding out for Texas on that brand new tour but that's a damn solid bill. I remember TFB opening for them when they were still a three piece at the Stone Pony and it was a great show.

 

After years of them doing minimal touring, it's weird that we will be getting back to back Brand New tours.

 

That Brand New tour is going to ruuuule. Really hoping it comes to Grand Rapids. I could see that hitting DeltaPlex - The 1975's there in November and it seems realistic.

 

Deltaplex would be great.

 

yeah that brand new tour i've heard the rumors for a while

i said this post and people yelled at me but TFB are arguably the same draw as brand new at this point

I don't think so haha Brand New (I mean I guess with the help of Modest Mouse) just sold out Madison Square Garden? TFB can sell out a 2,000 cap room I'd say but not much more than that

also there's definitely a geographical aspect as well

 

There definitely has to be a geographical aspect, because the last time BN played a 1500 cap room in Michigan it sold out in an hour, and it took TFB 3 months to sell the same room out. Also, BN headlined a 7,000 cap ampitheater and packed the place over in Detroit last summer, so where I live it's not even close between their draw and TFB's draw.

 

They do an 11 year tour for The Possibility and The Promise I would consider going. One of my favorite albums in middle school. Crazy that things I listened to when they came out in middle school are getting 10 year tours

 

They were the first band I saw multiple times. I was excited when the original singer re-joined but they really haven't done much since then.

 

Didn't even know he re-joined... man that would be awesome if they played some shows soon. I still am friends with their drummer on Facebook and he does a lot of church/gospel music stuff now.
