TSSF is fun stuff. I thought their last album was their best yet.

I haven't seen them live, though and I've heard they range from okay to terrible in that department.

I would be devastated if TSSF broke up.

Hilarious - AP 2.0 turns on another beloved pop-punk band. Everyone was going bananas for them when they released Under Soil and Dirt.

If you're going to dislike them, at least have it be because they're shitty people. The music is the same.

This whole site seems to have grown to dislike Pop Punk. I know it's because the scene has grown toxic and I'll likely get someone telling me I'm bad for supporting it still. I understand that. Get it all out of your system, dudes.

There's a lot of fun Pop Punk happening at the moment tbh and I only find it through Youtube, Twitter, and Alt Press nowadays.

I do miss the ap.net Pop Punk days. I can't even count how many bands I discovered there that I still listen to. Spitalfield, Farewell, The Audition, Driving East, So They Say, and Sing It Loud just to name stuff I've jammed this week so far.

that TBS holiday show couldn't have a more drastic difference in support between the two days

the dear hunter/diet cig one night and the maine/modern chemistry (i don't know why TBS loves that band so much, they're horrid, but they play every special gig they play) another, what a difference.

They have a winter tour/new album on the way according to their social media posts/rumors

they've also put out two records after that are pretty much the same. it's easy to sour on a band when there's no progression (though the second record is probably the best musically)

but the whole super broey angsty pop punk stuff that dominates the genre this day (mostly based off of TSSF) has gone wayyyy overboard at this point

I like TSSF, but they've always been one of the lesser big Pop Punk bands of their era. I'm actually surprised they hit the heights they did.

    Things have changed.

When I think of The Story So Far, "fun" is not an adjective I'd use to describe their music.

    But to each their own.

makes sense, but it's like, every single special show it's them, like the last two if not the last three power plant shows TBS did they played, and the holiday shows, and a tour, and...

Their headliner got leaked in an interview. Maybe they're doing Neck Deep after but someone legit listed all four bands on their headliner

From what I know from whoever said it in the Neck Deep headliner, the TE headliner will happen November and/or December, and then they do support for ND. The headliner could be a short two week or so run or maybe it hits up B-markets, because the ND tour is hitting up a lot of the major markets.

If there were still pop punk bands as good as The Audition, I would listen to them

"It's Too Late" should have been the biggest pop punk song in the world. Still mad about that

Yea the Audition were great. Let Me Know from their last album still randomly pops into my head sometimes. Los Angeles too.
