    Just got out of work:

SUPER excited for Self Help Fest - it's nice to see Detroit get some love with a big festival like that.

I'm assuming The Maine is going to add more dates to that Nostalgia tour once they're done with the Dashboard tour, but if not, then I'm totally prepared to drive to Cleveland in order to go. That's a great tour.

And Ben Folds announced more dates today for his Airplane Request tour. I went in Milwaukee and had a TON of fun.

If you're gonna go to CLE I would buy a ticket when they go on sale. 500 cap probably will sell out fairly quick

can't believe my hunch was right. and yet again, to my luck, they're skipping nyc and phl!! looks like i'm driving to baltimore.
beyond excited for self help philly, i can only assume the tickets would go onsale when the lineup gets announced on 7/17?

  4. I would hold off on tickets for Baltimore. There's a huge gap between Buffalo on 11/4 and Baltimore on 11/10. Probably waiting to announce until after the Dashboard tour (ends August 13th). Not to mention, with the hype they've gotten recently, they're not stupid enough to skip over such a huge market.

that would be great if they did. my only fear is the show selling out before then. but how would they add tour dates in later? unless they were festival dates?

The dates would already be booked, they'd just announce them after the tour since they can't announce while still having shows in that city that aren't even sold out yet. Really hoping for a Philly date on this after they hit here on the Dashboard tour.
The Maine are the coolest band.

Ugh, I hate this. I just wish I knew whether or not they were adding a MI date.

If they do you'll most likely be able to sell your ticket easily because I'd assume they'll sell out Cleveland. Just do print at home?

This is a weird one. According to Zoltan (guitarist of FFDP), they were having technical issues all night and apparently Ivan got dropped while trying to stage dive. He got a little bruised up but nothing serious. Then Jason (lead guitarist) was having an issue hearing his guitar, which lead him to throw it and bail halfway through a song. Then Ivan couldn't hear himself in his monitors and just lost his shit. Zoltan also said the band is fine and everything was done just out of frustration.

It sure seems like the band gets "frustrated" quite often whether through technical difficulties or because of Ivan. For the band's sake, I hope they think about not putting on a spectacle every time something goes wrong. If it's a repeated mistake, fire the crew and get another. The LAST thing you want to do is throw a hissy fit and end the set early while people are coming from all over to see you live. I know they want to put on the best show for fans and are pissed off at the current situation but you can calmly tell the audience you're having technical issues and power through.
