This is amazing

 

I love the majority of their material, but I saw All That Remains a few weeks ago and they are terrible live now.

 

"rumored" but I "can't say who" so I'll start a thread.

Question: anyone know when we'll find out what pop-punk band is breaking up?

 

Behind on everything but summer slaughter dates and full lineup yet?

 

Not yet, but as far as we know, TBDM, Dying Fetus, Origin, Oceano, Lorna Shore, Rings of Saturn, Slaughter to Prevail, and Betraying The Martyrs are rumored.

 

I've seen at least 3 people say Immolation is on Summer Slaughter as well, but I haven't seen any leaked info that points towards that. So I don't know where that rumor began.

 

I think they were part of a summer tour that had Dying Fetus and Origin on it as well, and apparently that tour got incorporated into SS.

 

Don't we have a thread to address both of these things?

I've seen them twice since Overcome came out and I think they have been not really good live for awhile now

Say what you want. You'll see in a month why I posted this in here when it is real. The Tour Speculation is pure speculation. i.e. (I wonder who is going to be on Summer Slaughter, etc.)

 

They should throw a bone to STL since they are skipping out on Metallica this week, even though I got charged for AX7 to be on the bill

 

nah kitb doesn't have any sources or anything, this is just some weird shitty rock dude "in the know" who thinks he's better than the rest of us

 

Yeah, it was a bummer when I caught them a few week ago. They have so much good material (even some of their newer stuff) but they had the worst song selection for their setlist. Then they had a backing track playing for all of the music and vocals that they were just playing over, and there'd be sections where you could see the guitar player stop playing but the music would keep going, or Phil would not be singing but you'd still hear vocals. I put on the Live DVD they put out in 2007 and it's like a totally different band.

 

I'll rather see you have better comebacks. I'm not worried about your "sources" on an Avegned Sevenfold tour.

 

Yikes, that sounds rough. I saw them right when Overcome came out and then again a few years after. I don't remember any back tracking, just that Phil sounded bad. Their set seemed pretty standard at the time, but I can never understand why Whispers isn't a staple.

Side note, why all the hate for the OP. Seems childish when no one is forcing you to comment in this thread if you don't want it.

 

I saw them a few times during the This Darkened Heart/Fall of Ideals days, but the most recent time (other than a couple weeks ago) was when For We Are Many came out. They still sounded okay, and weren't using backing tracks, but I guess times have changed. Phil's voice has been kinda burnt out for a while now, but the backing track is what really put me off... that and them playing the worst songs from each of their records, and ignoring This Darkened Heart completely.

 

Yeah, sadly I've never heard anything live off of This Darkened Heart. Even from The Fall of Ideals I've only heard the standards like This Calling, Six and Air That I Breathe.

 

That's not true. The speculation thread posts confirmed/leaked tours and they make threads when the tour gets announced or when a full routing/flier is leaked. There's a reason yours is the only thread on this whole forum to have (RUMORED) in the title.

 

I'm assuming mostly because that would be typical of someone who hate any form of radio rock. It's the worst thing about any thing that derives from rock music. The majority of pop punk fans hate any band that has riffs or is played on the radio. It's too bad. I like several genres in rock aside from straight metal-core. But, since peer pressure is a real thing at any age, god forbid you like more than one thing or what you friend thinks is cool.

 

Not sure how I thought I was better than the rest of you? Never said that. I'm new to the site. See my post above, you do sum up what I was saying. You are calling me out as some "rock dude". Sorry you probably have not broadened your horizons and the only bands you listen to are Neck Deep or State Champs and guess what, that is fine, but people can listen to whatever the hell they want. I don't go onto a Neck Deep thread and shit on them. Fucking childish.
