Managed to grab tickets to I Prevail (mainly just to finally see The White Noise) and Quilt. Sadly it seems like the Philly BLG and Switchfoot/Relient K shows are sold out for vouchers.

 

Haha the HOB AA+ promotion thing they have gives you 4 tickets at the door for all these shows for free.

 

they updated the list again, now just everything is sold out, haha

honestly i bet scalpers are having a blast at this. probably the main issue

 

Not going to lie, I used my vouchers for events that I thought I could sell for cheap off of Stubhub or craigslist. There weren't any events close to Portland so I decided to take advantage and make some extra cash that I can use towards a very busy late summer/early fall concert season.

Got lawn tickets for Slipknot/Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie/Korn and Disturbed/Breaking Benjamin in Seattle, Brian Fallon in Houston and Switchfoot/Relient K in Philly. If anyone wants some cheap tickets hit me up haha

 

Well that explains why I couldn't get a Switchfoot/Relient K ticket for Philly.

What did I do that's so wrong? There are no shows near me and I'm going to sell each ticket at well below face value. Is it wrong that I'm trying to make a few extra bucks to support my concert going habit. Pretty much all of my money goes towards supporting my daughter so this allows me to go to a few shows that I would have struggled to pay for. I don't see anything gwrong with what I'm doing.

 

You didn't do anything wrong. At least you used yours. I still have 14 vouchers that I don't think I'll ever be able to use.

 

RIP Masquerade, the best venue i have ever been to.

 

New building is incoming as mentioned by August 20th, so no worries!

 

It's not the same man *cries* I live in Orlando so it was cool to be able to go there a few times. Hopefully the new building is as awesome as the old one.

 

So I guess we need to wait for new tours to get announced at the venues on the list and get ready at on sale times to use our codes now? Cool...

 

Story of the Year and The Struts are playing a show in St. Louis at the Pageant on 9/23.

 

Man, I wish SOTY did shows outside of St. Louis these days. I get that they're busy with real life stuff now, though. No disrespect intended.

 

I went to The Masquerade on May 1st to see Enter Shikari. It was a 6 and half hour drive from Raleigh, and it was worth every penny. Always wanted to go to a show there and very fortunate I had the opportunity to see one of its final shows. Probably the coolest venue I have ever seen.

 

So tried using a voucher for Pennywise... and it only worked on one ticket... clues?

 

Maybe there was only one voucher left for that show? Go back to the events page and see if the vouchers for that show are sold out.

At this time, nearly $5m worth of eligible ticket vouchers have been redeemed and the first wave of eligible events has been closed. Given the overwhelming interest, Ticketmaster is adding another $5m worth of eligible tickets so more class members can redeem ticket vouchers. Please check back tomorrow for additional information.

 

Looks like I better get ready to use my vouchers!
