Jesus, i live in a pretty big city (st. louis) and have another major city in driving distance in every direction (KC, chicago, Indy, Memphis) and this tour went 0 for 5 for me.

I was just about to quote your post from yesterday. You nailed it.

Decided to give it a shot just to see how the process would go and... Had a GA pit ticket in the cart for $282. Wound up not pulling the trigger because it still didn't feel worth it to me.

I went back to check a few minutes ago, GA's sold out here in Boston but there's still some floor seats left (though prices seem to be slowly creeping up).

Tickets still moved quickly but it didn't feel like it was anywhere near the mad-dash that initial "reunion" run was!

Hartford pit tickets were $456 and I was number 497 in the queue, way too steep for a single show. Last section in the pavilion before the lawn were $100 each so I nabbed those, a little more than I wanted to spend but within reason.

Were those normal or early entry? Seems like the normal price is around $200 for pit. Early entry is between $380 and $400

That’s what it was like for San Antonio

Maybe they were early entry, I didn't look closely I just clicked in the GA Orchestra Pit section and it showed $456. Everyone that I was getting tickets for specifically requested seats so I moved onto the pavilion seating right away.

Early entry? Man they keep finding new ways to rob people of their money

Is this the new normal? People are ok paying this price? I don't mean to sound overly critical I am legitimately curious

TBH, I'd prefer something like "early entry" where there's an actual exchange of value versus the weird, non-transparent fees.

And hey. If people want to get in early to a seated venue and they think it's worth it? Good for them or whatever? LOL

I guess there's a market for people who want first access to get to the barricade

I just grabbed 2 pit to Milwaukee myself (I believe they went on sale an hour ago).

$300 after fees is wild, but that’s been the going range for most ‘premium’ arena / Stadium seats across the board.

Haha...I mean that is true...I guess it's just that I'd rather see something like that not exist and if people do buy it then it's never going to go away and eventually lead to other ideas to steal money lol

That's exactly what it is. It's for GA to get the best standing available

I mean, yeah, I'd definitely prefer that none of this exist but... It's the reality that we live in. And something like "early entry" at least feels like the person is getting something for their money.

Personally, I don't think it'll ever be something I'm willing to pay for (except at a festival but that's usually an entirely different, ticketed tier with other benefits attached) but again... To each their own, I guess.

    I agree with this.

what’s wild to me is the number of platinum tickets this go around. It doesn’t seem, at least to me yet, that dynamic pricing is on. But they have a TON of VIP & Platinum. Also, at least for Milwaukee, the platinum are called ‘Standard’ in the ticket options queue which I don’t like.

It’s vip early entry. They did the same thing on the tour they had earlier this year

I was actually willing to spring for the high end VIP package, but the seats just weren't worth it. Nothing in the front floor sections for Fenway at all - only Turf B. Not spending $600+ for that in any universe.

Every concert I've been to at MSG, some form of merch has sold out before the headliner has started playing. As I get older I can't justify band shirts as much,& posters have been my go to. I missed out for RATM & The Cure... if I could guarantee an opportunity to get those I'd pay a bit extra

Curious if they limit the number of early entry tickets available. The price point is probably a big enough restriction in and of itself, but that extra $100-$150 per ticket is pure profit without any additional costs associated with providing the added value. If everyone in standing room bought early entry then the consumers would be eliminating their own value added that they paid for.

    Fun must be always. Prestigious

I saw $50 for the cheap seats and then $100 for the level 100 for my venue. I might pick up some cheap seats just because I’m a casual blink and ptv fan.
