Thy Art is Murder are hinting at a North American tour and Carnifex are hinting at touring with them...so a Thy Art and Carnifex North American tour is very likely

Not until fall at the earliest if that happened. I can't see why Thy Art would hint at a tour that they probably can't announce until Warped is at least halfway over.

Aren't Carnifex trying to reach new crowds lately? They're on Warped of course, and Scott teased a possible tour of Carnifex/King 810/Full of Hell/Ghost Bath once (possibly just an example now)

I think Carnifex just want to tour with whoever. Bands they have a similar sound with and bands they don't. They just got off that tour with Despised Icon, Fallujah, etc. and that tour was very much in line with their usual crowd. But obviously Warped is the opposite. I won't be surprised if they do a tour with Thy Art, but I don't think there's solid plans for a tour with them yet (at least not in the U.S.). Speaking of DI, they're probably a likely contender for Summer Slaughter. The only touring they've done in the states for Beast was the co-headliner with Carnifex (I think at least).

I didn't know that. I wonder what this means for The Summer Set.

I honestly would not be surprised if they're just one of those bands that never really goes away. I want to see 70 year old Rivers running around on stage. But seriously I don't really see what reason they'd have to call it quits.

Probably not looking good for them. Wasn't there already a ton of uncertainty before. I bet they go on indefinite hiatus (like the Every Avenue time where they probably really never do get back together).

    The Real Dirty Dan.

Decapitated and Thy Art Is Murder just added a few shows for August-September in Atlanta, Baltimore, and Ontario.

    Oh my damn...

Poor Decapitated. They deserve better than that.

but like, even the big names mostly aren't good? solange, run the jewels, 21 savage, migos, stormzy are good but what else is there? the headliners are laughable and a lot of the depth is pretty bad too

Confused how Beach Slang is still getting offered to play all of these festivals. Thought they fell off pretty hard

They went from hypey to unlistenable pretty fast. Seeing them in a few weeks with Jimmy Eat World though so maybe they will change my mind on that.

Yeah agreed. I was really into them and then when that "breakup" happened and then they released their next album and I was over it haha

I actually was pretty turned off of Beach Slang until I recently saw them open for Minus the Bear. They were so much fun live!

Are you referring to their lineup changes over the last year or a dip in quality between their two albums? If anything, they seemed like they've been going at it harder this year with their touring schedule than ever and are reinvigorated on the lineup front. They've had big opening slots for Minus the Bear and JEW here in the US. They also had a European headliner in January and February.

yeah, they lost a lil bit of their love in punk/emo music but they're becoming a pretty decent sized dad rock band now, hahaha

I thought the second album wasn't well received but maybe that was just in my head
