My worst nightmare. A lineup of C-tier pop-punk/emo bands playing until 2:00 in the morning

 

I’ve never heard of van full of nuns. How are they listed above the 3 bands below them?

 

I literally text my buddy the poster and said “I think it might be”

 

Calling most of that bill C-tier is generous.

 

According to the top of the flyer, they're putting it on. So that's the answer lol

I feel like I recall a lot of various unofficial stories of RJA having total rock star attitudes around 06-07. Hilarious that this is where they've ended up.

 

Red Jumpsuit is a band I hated from the get-go... For whatever reason, I've always considered them the Nickelback of the early 2000s radio emo era. Not sure why exactly, but yeah. Can't stand em haha.

 

Van Full Of Nuns is one of the worst band names I ever heard. It seems they are a cover band too

 

this is an incredibly rude insult to nickelback dude

 

I hated them too, whether it was irrational at the time I didn’t view them as genuine and just saw them as someone jumping on a fad. Got around to eventually listening to the album and I didn’t particularly like it either.

Can't find a full poster, but Fred Armisen announced a stand-up tour. These are the dates I know:

10/8 Pyramid Scheme, Grand Rapids
10/9 Blind Pig, Ann Arbor

 

This will be a shit-show ticket-wise.

 

It’s a lottery and non-transferable so it shouldn’t be too bad. Lot of people will cry about not being selected though lol

 

You think she can do a proper tour of arenas? I imagine at least in major markets she can.

 

For the life of me, I couldn't read what the artist name on that poster was... It took the context of people here saying it was a "lottery" to be selected for tickets to sort out that it was a Mitski tour. Hah.

Now I can't unsee it, but hot damn was that font unreadable to me initially.

 

I *need* this to be a full tour (with a stop in OKC) so damn bad.

 

Really cool support on those Poison the Well shows. Always love seeing bands of their era have their fingers on the pulse with what is currently good.
