Memphis May Fire small venue tour dates leaking with Catch Your Breath and Another Day Dawns…. I thought small venues were the norm for MMF already. I’ll see myself out

Goddamn. I did think some of the venue sizes were ambitious including that but downgrading to that small of a venue is kinda embarassing.

It’s weird, some venues sold out, I’ve seen them mention low ticket warnings for some
Venues. So this almost seems like a really weird anomaly, but I can’t believe less than 1300 tickets. WCAR alone just did a 100% sold out headliner playing to those types of rooms.

New Haven isn’t selling well either. Can’t tell how the floor is selling cuz there are still tickets available. But there are maybe less than 50 balcony tickets sold

I think it’s a combination of a lot of things. First, indoor shows in the summer, especially metalcore, don’t seem to do as well. Second, I don’t think there’s much overlap in these fanbases and TGIs post-reunion hype has died down.

Not at all. I am a TGI fan and have never liked UO. I’m literally only going for TGI and BL. So I think you are right there.

Underoath has toured heavily since last year. First with Bad Omens and Spiritbox. Then it was with Periphery and Loathe. Right now theynare touring with Falling In Reverse and Ice Nine Kills.

I dont think there is enough demand to see them tour for the 4th time since 2022

I feel like I underestimated how big Menzingers are if they are playing the Salt Shed.

    The intrusive whisper fascinates me

Speaking of shows not selling well, I saw a post that the Pacific Amphitheater at the OC Fair is doing a giveaway for a 4-pack of tickets for the Yung Gravy show happening this Friday. I got a bit curious and checked out sales and, oof…

Speaking of tours selling BETTER than I expected, Cannons upgraded their venue here in NYC from the 1800-capacity BK Steel to the 3000-capacity Terminal 5

I don't know what size venues they're playing in other cities, but there's been a few things at Salt Shed that seem like reaches (Jeff Rosenstock is playing in Sept and it's definitely his biggest Chicago headliner), sell out quicker than the same artists have sold out smaller venues before, or even artists that seem like they could be playing somewhere bigger. I think it has to do with the venue basically being in promo mode right now and just trying to get as many different people as possible in the doors.

The Creed reunion announcement coming tomorrow. Anyone heard any more details about it?

I haven't been there yet so maybe I am overestimating the size of the venue.

People are genuinely excited about this? They've reunited a few times already so I'm surprised there's still the demand but I guess for people who missed out during the peak years it'll make sense.

Pretty on par with Radius, bigger than Riviera but not quite as big as Aragon.

menzingers were playing a 600 capacity venue here 2 years ago and now they're playing a 1500 cap venue, so they've definitely grown a bit

Now that the Harm's Way single has dropped and the record is announced, I'm ready for that tour announcement

It also helps that Microwave has blown up a bit. They sold out their spring tour here, which is quite impressive considering they have been opening tours at the same 650 cap venue for years.
