I’m preparing myself for disappointment. I can do Eugene, but bend is just as far as Seattle from Portland haha I hate that LN has taken over the Bend amphitheater so now tons of tours skip Portland. This tour would be perfect for a late September outdoor show at Edgefield.

 

It’s kinda fucked up that the get up kids are probably opening the shows. But an awesome tour for them to be on!

 

Is NFG for sure on this?

 

I’m surprised they’re doing this tour since they said that it would be a while before they toured again after doing the FMM anniversary tour last year. But I’m all for it. I still haven’t seen them live yet

 

Maybe today they’ll tag NFG

 

I don’t think anything is for sure since Chad missed the 2nd leg of the acoustic tour. I could see them still doing this tour even if he can’t make it though. They had Dan from FYS fill in for chad on the acoustic tour.

I bet they still do the tour without Chad. Although he seems to be making some good recovery. So he might be able to do it

 

Chad does seem the type who’s super supportive of his bandmates while they’re on the road without them, so I’d be surprised if he didn’t give his blessing, but I guess it’s a matter of whether the band wants to do another tour without him (in the event he’s unable, of course)

 

When was the last time NFG wasn’t the touring headliner? Aside from that Simple Plan x NFG rotating coheadliner

Well, Simple Plan dropped that tour and LTJ replaced them making NFG the sole headliner lol

To answer your question though, I think it was when they opened for ADTR in the UK in 2017?

AAR just tweeted this. Either NFG isn’t doing the tour after all, or they’ll be playing select dates

 

Well I could also see any combo of MCS/TSL or TUK doing select dates too. It would honestly make sense if this had rotating openers with how little some of these bands have toured.

True. Maybe they’ll be announced tomorrow and then on Monday we get the tour announcement

 

I can’t see this being a five band bill, so I’m guessing select dates or nothing. Just my gut feeling

Guess it could be one of the openers doing select dates too

 

Now I’m thinking about it more, my guess is now that either The Starting Line and The Get Up Kids are splitting dates, or The Starting Line will play Midwest dates since Motion City is already playing that area on Sad Summer

 

That actually makes a lot of sense. I guess we’ll find out soon enough! I’m really hoping NFG is on this though. A friend of mine has never seen AAR/NFG and is a big fan of both, but he’s old and getting him out to a double bill will be a lot easier than just the one haha

Yeah I’m still holding out for NFG. I haven’t seen them in 6 years and I’m dying for another show

 

All they need is the format

 

I wonder if this will be like the 2006 tour where half was msc and other half was tsl

 

MCS/TSL are splitting, as I understand it.
