The Smiths and Talking Heads are the true reunions I believe will NEVER happen. THAT being said, we did get a G'N'R semi-reunion so maybe anything is still possible.

Just got The Cure tickets for MSG! There’s a Chase card presale happening right now if anyone still hasn’t gotten off the waitlist.

Wow, Madison Square Garden. I didn't realize he still had such popularity.

Yeah I got lawn tickets for the SD show and before fees they were $30 a piece. I was genuinely shocked at how cheap they were

He did 5 nights at Hammerstein in 2019 so given he's been gone for a while, I assume it'll work.

It’s a perfect day for letting go... Supporter

As a heavy Smiths head, I pray they never get back together. I don’t need that ticketing headache

Doubt a Smiths reunion would happen. I don’t think any amount of money would make those guys affiliate themselves with Morrissey again…

Since we're on the topic, I was lucky enough to catch Rage last year before Zack got shut down, and I grabbed Cure tickets, so I've been thinking about my concert bucket list and who's still feasible. I'll throw Outkast and Tom Waits into the Smiths/ Talking Heads category cause I don't think they'll happen again. As for what's possible, do you guys think Portishead will ever do more than just the occasional one off? And I know Karin is doing the Fever Ray thing, but I'd kill to get to see a set by The Knife. What about you guys?

Sufjan Stevens is incredible live. I would love to see him again, but I don’t foresee him touring anytime soon sadly.

On my “haven’t seen yet” list Fiona Apple is at the top, and the thing is I have no idea if she will ever tour again.

Ill add Talking Heads and R.E.M. too but I know those are both "hell freezes over" kind of reunions

R.E.M., Oasis, No Doubt and Fugazi are top 4 “bands I never got to see that I hope reunite so I can see them” bands.

As for bands currently active, my bucket list as of now is:

    1. Pearl Jam
    2. Foo Fighters
    3. The Cure
    4. Rage Against The Machine
    5. Alice In Chains
    6. Queens Of The Stone Age
    7. Numerous indie and emo bands from the 90’s

As far as active bands go, the big ones on my bucket list are:

    Ben Folds Five
    Cartel
    Courtney Barnett
    Deafheaven
    Full of Hell
    Gin Blossoms
    The Goo Goo Dolls
    NAILS
    Phoebe Bridgers
    Real Estate
    Teenage Fanclub

As for bands that are unlikely to reunite, yeah, I'd love to see Talking Heads, R.E.M., and Oasis as much as the next guy. The Cranberries was another HUGE one that unfortunately I'll never see.

active artists I wanna see still are Opeth, Meshuggah, RHCP, Taylor, Acceptance, and Cartel

Depeche Mode is also a big one I'll get to tick off next month!

Sufjan Stevens, Grimes, Fiona Apple and Danny Brown are pretty much the only “active” artists that I haven’t seen yet. Everyone else on my bucket list is like… Daft Punk, Kate Bush, Talking Heads. Never happening lol. But somehow I’ve managed to see just about everybody else I like at least once.

For what it's worth, Muse also did not dynamic pricing/verified resale for their tour (at least on the MSG date here). I feel like British/European bands, most likely due to growing up in countries/environments that engaged in more social democracy, tend to take these steps more often vs American bands.

Only act that I could conceivably see that I wasn't able to is R.E.M

I'm fortunate to have seem ALOT of artists over the years that have either broken up or passed away, including Oasis (twice), No Doubt, Outkast, Beastie Boys, Stone Temple Pilots, Linkin Park (3x), Tom Petty, Soundgarden (twice), Blur (twice) and Stone Roses.

My bucket list for active artists is: Sade, The Cure (seeing in June!), Janet Jackson, Bruno Mars, Rammstein, Rage Against the Machine, Daft Punk, Kid Cudi, Halsey, Charli XCX, FKA Twigs, Justin Timberlake and Anderson Paak.

Biggest regrets are not seeing Prince and David Bowie when they were alive, and +44 when they were active.
