are we still lucky to be here? Prestigious

Good for the economic impact in my area, but I'll be avoiding the Oceanfront like the plague during that weekend.

Solid lineup, much more diverse than the typical buttrock fest, but someone needs to get FIR & DGD the fuck out of here.

Really thinking doing this instead of Riot, but The Postal Service is my selling point for Riot

It’s really nice seeing a major arena artist not gauge their fans, bravo to The Cure.

Taylor, Beyoncé and Bruce should take notes.

Taylor can't answer the phone right now, she's too busy rolling in money.

Yeah though the verified on sale shut out a lot of people and there's a ton of tickets on resale for NYC. Hoping with 3 days it becomes more affordable but the band and their management did the best they could within the system so bravo to them.

Not that she isn't wealthy but the COST of her tour will probably be insane. I remember reading that U2's 360 tour in 2009 was in the red until they were like 2-3 months in due to having 3 stages and all the crew/production.

That was legit an insane "stage" production though. THe Reputation one wasn't anything to scoff at, either, but that weird claw thing clearly wasn't something cheap to put on.

Apparently they had 3 crews working all times. One breaking down a stage, one working the current show and one setting up a stage at the next location.

The stage for that 360 tour will probably never be topped in size and scale. There’s only a few artists out there continually pushing the boundaries of live production/staging (The Weeknd, Kanye (ugh), U2).

Im really interested to see how much of the cost behind Taylor and Beyoncé’s tours is reflected in the live production. Taylor has yet to really push any boundaries but she pulls the best bits from what has already been done…Beyoncé, outside of her Coachella performance has never been one to innovate on that front either. It’ll be interesting to see what they do.

I was honestly shocked at how basic Gaga’s stage production was for the Chromatica Ball last summer.

Hands down, still the most innovative live productions I’ve ever seen were Kanye’s Saint Pablo tour and Nine Inch Nails Lights In The Sky tour. Both of those pushed the limits of what people thought was possible.

Nine Inch Nails, and in turn Moment Factory and Rob Sheridan (to an extent) don’t get the credit they deserve for completely changing how arena shows can be designed.

    Die rad.

Scored a floor seat for MSG and I didnt even make the original cut. I was put on the "waitlist" and randomly got a text after on sale for 20 mins that I was now off the waitlist and sent a code

What did floor seats come out to? Want to understand the upcharge on the secondary markets at this point.

Muse was doing great stages for their live shows, but they havent topped their pyramid in The 2nd Law tour
