I mean, the Lumineers are great.

 

Louder than Life lineup coming tomorrow at Noon ET.

 

I like them but they're in this category of bands that are really hard to generate extreme feelings for either way. Totally passable, pleasant and function well as comfort/background music. Others in that category include The Head And The Heart, The Revivalists, Band Of Horses, etc.

 

I'm sure its been said before, but to all those who post any and all tours in here, you're all great! I've found a ton of new bands and shows I may have missed through this thread.

Will Scowl blow up like Turnstile? I remember how 4-5 years ago people were like "oh it's cool to see Turnstile on this thing"

 

I don't see anyone else from hardcore blowing up as big as Turnstile tbh. Scowl has the potential to blow up to Knocked Loose level where they're selling out 1.5k rooms in major markets, IMO especially if they keep going with the sound they're bridging to on the new EP.

 

I could see them getting to the same level as Turnstile. But it would require a similar shift in style/sound (which seems to be in the cards based on the last two singles they've dropped) and a healthy dose of luck, the right tours, etc.

It's possible. Unlikely. But possible. I think they'll definitely get to a point where they can play 1-2k rooms in most major markets for sure, though. They seem to get tours and gain more fans from it... Which is way more critical than getting on a ton of tours.

 

Sidenote, but I did not realize Ryan Adams was out playing shows

I got waitlisted for Bruce Springsteen tickets and got an email letting me know I was off the waitlist with my code 10 minutes after the sale started, still got good tickets.

 

I was waitlisted for the cure (even though I’ve bought hundreds of tickets in my life) and my fiancée was selected (she bought tickets to one show ever lol)
