    Things have changed.

Rest assured, both Manchester and Jimmy's agents are aware of how each act draws in each market and organized the headlining slots accordingly.

That post feels like management and/or the label doesn't want them saying more for one reason or another. Kinda feels like they're trying to appease both sides of the fence. Definitely a bummer.

Though, is it really that surprising? They've always struck me as really wanting to just go for it and become huge. Which isn't an inherently bad thing. But sometimes it comes with these weird, vague politics.

See also: The Interrupters talking about how they want "unity" but never really getting specific about what that means and/or looks like to them, not really ever taking a stand on any major issues, etc.

That’s fair! Now that I think about it, I could imagine Ronnie stirring the pot, if they were to call him out specifically

Because FIR are a pretty big band objectively, with 7 million monthly listens and plenty of experience in packing venues. I get that it's a clear case of right and wrong most times on who you support (figuratively and literally), but behind the scenes I'm sure you have management people looking at the numbers going 'how much blow back could there possibly be? Are we really going to get shit when FIR has this many people listening to them and that many defenders?'

Obviously a bad call. But what do you expect them to say? They took a gamble that the good would outweigh the bad. I expect nothing else to be said as it's all clear. They took a tour for more fans and money, and the noise became not worth it.

There will be another big scene band chomping at the bit for that reason and they'll take the tour despite the crap, because they'll have a different tipping point on risk vs reward.

Any statement would just be lies:
    'Allegations came to our attention....'
    'We have been educated on...'
    'After much deliberation...'

ETC. I like they kept it to the point and are sparing us all the bullshit.

I don’t mean to shit on anyone’s tastes as I’m happy to see people connecting with all styles of music but……what is the OBSESSION with this one butt-core tour that has taken up pages of this thread? Approaching Weezer-levels of discourse here.

We’re not obsessed, we’re just concerned that groups are deciding to tour with the human poopdick known as Ronnie Radke
