Goldfinger with a Sublime cover band is cursed

 

I think that same band opened for Less Than Jake before

 

Momma’s not on my date either, so I don’t think this is a fair deal lol

 

Damn, no SoCal. Really bummed I missed this one last year. Was hoping it’d come back through

 

one of the best late night performances of all time

 

Botch added a date at the masquerade in Atlanta Nov 8

 

It was great but I feel like they weren't able to capitalize on it. Their constantly defined as "synth-pop" yet, for whatever reason, I have a hard time remembering a lot of their songs after I hear them.

 

Descendants/Dillinger Four are playing a show here in Portland in August. I’d assume there might be some other dates around that.

i heard people say that at the time which led me to watch it and personally all I felt was second hand embarrassment watching him dance

 

i desperately wish but i don’t think so. would love to be wrong haha

 

I totally felt the opposite. Seemed like someone who poured the heart out on stage and didn't worry about what they looked like. I think it just connected for some people and clearly didn't for others.

 

I can’t look at this and just think “what is it like to be IN train? What is the outlook on life of the bassist for Train?”

 

Lol did something happen with Live? Why is Ed the only member in their pic?

Read the Rolling Stone article that just came out…it’s a wild story.

 

If only there was a way for them to be selling the drama.

 

Probably clearing $400-500k/year I imagine.

 

That story is just....absurd. So much shadiness going on mixed with poor business decisions.

 

Can someone give me the cliff notes on the situation? In the middle of the ocean and most websites take 3 days to load

 

When band was on their downward slope in early 2000’s got involved with a guy that said he could help them make more money…shocker he got them involved in Ponzi schemes, bled them dry and caused a giant rift in the band. Continued to do so well into the reunion of the band in 2016-2020, Ed finally got majority rights to the band and promptly fired everyone. Lots of legal still need to be resolved from it all.
