I bought two tickets for Andrew McMahon on StubHub a few weeks ago. Apparently, I can't access them until 3/19. The show is on 3/24. Anyone know why they do this?

 

That's odd, I was able to download mine right away

 

The person you bought them from probably specified they won't have the tickets in hand until then. Don't really know why people do that - usually it's if someone else (a friend, etc.) has the PDF and they don't yet.

 

They're instant download though. I am thinking maybe the seller hasn't confirmed the transaction. Just a guess.

Holy shit, how can I, Prevail tour this damn much?!?!

 

For the first time in a long time, I haven't heard of a single one of the openers on that tour. Might still go to check out I, Prevail.

 

I'd check out Starset and As Lions, probably duck out before I Prevail's set

 

I think Starset used to open for Breaking Benjamin a ton. The name is really familiar. I have no idea who the other 2 are and Cover Your Tracks are gaining a lot of momentum.

 

Doesn't Starset dress up in astronaut suits now? I thought I saw an Alt Press article about them.

I believe so. It sounds like something they would do.

 

first time I heard it was the pinegrove record release in early February 2016 which was over a year ago so we're rounding up 365 + 10-ish days to two years so "literally years" hahaha

 

When I got Jack's Mannequin tickets last year, I wasn't able to print mine until the day of the show. I guess it could be kind of the same scenario for them? Seems like it would prevent reselling but I guess if people list the tickets on stubhub anyway, it isn't helping a ton haha.

 

I thought about that too. The irony of StubHub not wanting you to resell the ticket...

 

Which is odd because they'd get another cut if you re-sold that ticket.

 

I meant the venue actually, haha. That would be ironic though. The person selling might not have been able to download the ticket yet from the venue so stubhub can't allow you to until that person actually receives theirs.
