MCS and more added to the SS Neverender

 

At first I read this as "MCR added to the SS Neverender" and was really surprised until I read it again.

 

This being my local fest, I wouldn't hate this, though it's far from my favorite lineup of theirs.
- No idea who AJR are (and just listened to a few songs and uhhh, most likely, no thank you)
- Yuck to MGK
- I don't know who Placebo are (must have missed them in the 90's)
- Imagine Dragons... sigh... pretty predictable and bland and safe but I imagine they will put on a spectacle
- The killers - fair enough, not my favorite but solid
- Depeche Mode - no real opinion here but I get that they will bring a huge crowd and are a solid legacy act

No real opinions on any of the others.

Also, i'm not even asking how you know any of this and just taking it at face value.

 

Aesthetically it's an odd one but... The Gilman connection is strong! Rad that Jawbreaker got this slot.

 

Placebo is VERY rare in the US, I think Riot this year was one of their first shows here in awhile. DM is really the only thing great on this lineup, with them doing so few US shows I’d highlyyyyyyy recommend checking them out if you’re into legacy acts.

Love Spiritbox and I'm fully stoked to see a headliner but man that support is not doing a ton for me

 

PUP/Joyce Manor dates are popping up!

 

Surprised they went with this support, I was expecting something less heavy and metalcore-y

PUP and Joyce Manor definitely has my interest!

 

After The Burial is phenomenal and a really great live band imo. It’s cool because I believe ATB took Spiritbox out pre-pandemic in Europe and now Spiritbox is returning the favor. Intervals doesn’t do a whole lot for me, but I’m not that big into instrumental bands.

 

ATB opening? Didn’t know Spiritbox blew up that much
