Who is a bigger draw in the US at this point...Foals or Bloc Party? I'd probably lean Bloc Party but its close. I assume Bloc Party will be doing major markets and Foals doing secondary since Foals has a NA tour of their own going on now.

 

Wondering if Paramore is going to be one of the Boston Calling headliners. They'll be in the northeast for Adjacent, anyway, and it's a relatively short drive.

 

I know Foals are playing a much larger venue here in Boston than the one Bloc Party did on their last tour. Nearly double the size (1,800 versus 3,500 respectively). But that doesn't mean they're going to sell 3,500 tickets whereas the last Bloc Party tour date here sold out.

Maybe it's just about a draw between the two? Rarity might give Bloc Party a bit of an edge.

 

I'd bet money that Paramore is playing Lollapalooza. If they do, that's enough for me to go the day they play.

 

Foals is doing Terminal 5 here which is 3000 capacity. They've sold it out multiple times but I don't think it's sold out yet which leads me to believe their ability to draw has decreased. Bloc Party I...think...may have done well on their last tour because they were playing Silent Alarm in full otherwise I have no idea where they can play nowadays.

 

Bloc Party played a 1200 cap for the silent alarm tour. I’d imagine they’d do smaller on a normal tour

 

Looks like Valencia is teasing a holiday show announcement, they've got a countdown til midnight on their instagram

Damn, I was hoping that Finch would be back for more shows beyond WWWY. Is this Finch the artist that had a song with Electric Callboy?

lol that would be something to see the crowd's reaction at WWWY if that was the case, but I reached out to the bassist (who plays bass for Senses Fail/is my old church youth group leader) and he told me that they only are booked for WWWY.

 

Amway Center in Orlando had the Paramore image, too.

damn, no Bloc Party for SLC but The Linda Lindas is fun

So where is Bloc Party gonna headline between 5/25 & 5/29 cause sign me up for that

 

Safe to say Paramore will be on the Bonnaroo lineup. No Nashville date and the tour ends in FL the weekend of Roo.

I’ll pass on the nightmare of these on sales and dynamic pricing and just grab a roo ticket.

 

THIS! Hoping for some non-Silent Alarm shows in the Northeast, it's been too long. Also, I have a feeling Bloc Party and Foals won't go over that well with the Paramore crowd, not expecting big energy for those openers.
