Maybe they’ll be on Lolla next year

Whew! The 1975 is playing somewhere remotely close to me. My girlfriend will be so happy. I know she was super bummed to not be able to see them due to the cancelations.

Drive to Milwaukee it’s not that far. Depending on where you live. Takes me like 2 hours from where I’m from

I feel like we get most of them? Festival game needs to be upped though

Gap around Dec, I assume they'll play that Q101 holiday show.

Nights we stole Christmas is either the first or second week of December so that fits. This year it should be the 5-9. It Should be announced after riot fest weekend

if I were in a band and a venue wanted a merch cut I'd tell them, "I'll give you a merch cut when you give me a cut of alcohol sales" - none of these people would even be here drinking your overpriced shitty beer if the bands weren't playing

    Things have changed.

There are certainly shows where acts get a cut of the bar. A lot of those emo night-type things and other dance parties do on occasion.

It feels like at quite a few shows lately the bands have had limited merch at the table, but had QR codes around the venue with links to buy merch online instead. I wonder if that let's them bypass the venue cut.

From what I heard about Bowery Presents in NYC-area, the reason they win out on so many tours vs Live Nation is they give acts a cut of the bar.

Interesting that Nashville date is at Nashville municipal. Small b arena but the last time they played was ascend amphitheater. They went from 10k room not sold out to ascend which is 6.7k and now back to the 10k

More then likely it’s a supply chain issue.

Steve Lacy tour sold out real fast this morning it seems

  22. Probably just what was available that month. Ascend is outside and if memory serves none of it is covered at all so that's a no go for Nov

Edit just saw you're from Nashville lol nvm you know this already

I'd probably go to Ascend in November, unless it's that one random day in November is snows in Tennessee.

  25. Unrelated but I’ve only been to ascend once and it had probably the best sound of any outdoor venue I’ve ever been to
