If that is the case, kind of weird they just didn't say it.

So blue ridge’s lineup post got me thinking, they said one of their big headliners was a reunion for a band that hasn’t played in 20 years but it fell through and legally there weren’t allowed to say who, but that was the delay in the lineup. So I was racking my brain, 20 years, I’ll give it a loose timeline and say a headliner that hasn’t played since 2001-2005 who in the hell is that? There really aren’t a lot of options. The only thing I could think of was Phil and Rex playing a Pantera set but people would hardly consider that a reunion. Any other guesses?

  4. Is Chitown Futbol literally just a soccer store that has DIY shows? If so, that rules. Might check out that day.

to be fair, I read that and was like Bingo! There were creed rumors all year. And who wouldn’t fudge the timeline.

The Fillmore Silver Spring staff told fans that asked why Thrice weren't able to play was due to a "medical issue," but they didn't elaborate beyond that. Hope all is okay in the Thrice camp!

I think it’s an actual soccer field. I’ve never been there though. Fiddlehead played there last year. I really want to go that day but I’m going to be on a family vacation so I will unfortunately have to miss.

Chitown Futbol is an indoor soccer complex that has booked DIY shows for years especially on the hardcore side of things. Unless things have changed, they also serve beer and snacks there too. It's a good place to see a show:

It was ABBA. I believe the promoters commented on one of their posts and said that. They wanted to send holograms instead of actually showing up so they dropped them.

No, that was the band that commented on every single post, One of the Last, having fun. Creed probably makes the most sense even if they have played more recently - several of Blue Ridge's "hints" were off slightly.

It's a good lineup but I'm going to sell my 3 tickets. Pretty disappointed with the headliners since I'm also going to INK, LTL, and ACL. So someone pls buy my tickets :)

Of course Joji tours the east coast once I no longer live in the US. I was waiting four years for this.

lol. ABBA, one of the biggest and greatest pop groups of all time, were never going to be booked for some butt rock festival in bumfuck Virginia. Whoever said that was clearly trolling.

If a festival existed where the headline line was Ghost-Slipknot-Disturbed-ABBA, that booking agent would go down in history.

I bought a ticket to see them in Chicago on the 15th and a day later they announced it's moving to a place half the size and the I saw the setlist for the tour and it bummed me out completely. I'm probably an asshole for this but I wouldn't mind them completely dropping off the tour so Bayside can do a longer set.

I like Alesana but they havent played Chicago in a while (since 2012 according to setlistfm), and I dont like them that much to make a trip to other cities in Illinois to see them. Woe is me.

that’s their deal, they basically play smaller towns relying on nostalgia. They won’t open tours anymore and burned a lot of bridges with booking agents. Dating back to when they turned down warped tour because they weren’t on the main stage.
