Are bands testing every day even when asymptomatic or just testing when someone is showing symptoms?

that honestly probably varies tour to tour, management to management, hell there are probably even some venues that want artists to test before playing the venue.

My guess, and it's only a guess, is that they're only testing when they're feeling symptomatic.

I’d imagine it depends on the promoter. In Portland, we have different rules at every venue regarding the covid stuff. A lot of them have vax/mask requirements, one has mask required, but no Vax and another has no requirements at all except when it’s a certain promoter. I assume most of this depends on the market/promoter/insurance.

Regarding testing I imagine it also depends from band to band. Like I know that Lamb of God was testing every day when they were on tour with Megadeth, just because Randy was posting his test results every day.

I was thinking about this tour the other day and realized I bought my ticket for it in Feb 2020. So I’ll have had my tickets for 3 years when my date rolls around wild.

Regardless, really distraught to hear about John F. Hoping for a speedy recovery

kicking a band off a tour and replacing them with a band led by matt skiba is objectively hilarious
